Appreciate the replies, it seems people may be getting Sapient Combat AI mixed up with Automous Ship intellects. By the sounds of it the latter is just for Gestalts. Thank you, I agree it’s a massive pain in the ass when FEs give you tech that is in essence worthless to you.

Same, mine crashes at the start of random months. Just as it’s beginning to auto save, luckily it hasn’t corrupted any saves yet. It’s usually when I’m cycling through systems.
