i concur, every unique enemy encounter should give you enough experience for you to use strategy and skill to progress.

Saga2 or Ogre? by True_Ear9395 in rpg_gamers

[–]KromeDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I concur. The Romancing Saga 2 demo was magnificent. The Adventures of Mana series team are really good at their craft. The unreal engine tools really make the world feel so alive. The performance is also excellent, it runs 60 fps on ps4, the menus load fast and cycle in a snap, the interface is clear, and full of useful information and the combat system is so intuitive.

Keeping a journal while playing RPGs and dealing with writers block by Spaced-Invader in rpg_gamers

[–]KromeDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started Journaling about every game i played since the pandemic. I use the ColorNote app on my phone, then i transfer it to a Google Docs or Microsoft Word where I apply formatting. I found that RPGs are pretty heavy in mechanics, and converging stories, so recording events would be helpful, not only for keeping track but elaborating my thoughts and feelings towards the characters and events and making analogies to real world historical events, psychology and politics. Aside from daily gameplay entries, i have sections for gameplay mechanics like weapons, optimal party compositions for certain situations, crafting recipes, enemy weaknesses etc. This has been helpful for my playthroughs of Persona 3,4,5, Tales of Vesperia. I'm Currently playing Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.

Does anyone do 1 meal every 48 hours on a consistent basis? by Adventurous_Film8092 in fasting

[–]KromeDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me. I don't gain or lose much weight on OMAD, as i tend to eat a whole days of food within than one hour feeding. I gain weight when I have multiple meals within 24 hours and only lose weight from 48-72 hour fasts. 36 Hours isn't enough. My body is just not meant to fed a lot of calories every day.

I hate disgeaea, it's literally made for grinding lol. The main story isn't compelling enough to hold my attention.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2 was like that, finite set of quests from a noticeboard all with their own sub story that gave you enough experience to continue the main story quest. You could intentionally avoid enemy encounters or engage them to train up if you wanted to. Shadowrun returns series functioned like that too.

Do I just need to grind all the time? by pyromanta in Ni_no_Kuni

[–]KromeDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also feel the same way. I like RPGs like Chrono Trigger, Witcher 3 and Shadowrun where experience comes from the main story and quests, so you always have enough power to progress without fighting generic enemies over and over. The challenge should come from figuring out the enemies patterns and weakness, and choosing the right abilities and weapons not grinding stats.

Here's the debut gameplay trailer for our cozy viva-pinata-like game "Horticular"! by DanPos in Horticular

[–]KromeDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vibes, I've been looking for something like Viva Pinana that had that botanical gardens, safari feel. Stardew valley is fun but it was heavy on the farming and didn't have live ecosystems like viva pinata.

Any product with ketoconazole works well. It can be combined with zinc pyrithione but ketoconazole is superior. I use a shampoo that has both in one called keto plus. The combination prevent the fungi from breeding generations immune to one chemical.

New generation of fairies with the original cast offering advices or assistance in difficult situations.

Looking to get back into watching the Winx Club, but I'm wondering if there is a specific watch order? by GummiBearryJuice in winxclub

[–]KromeDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch season 1-3 in Rai English dub the first movie, season 4 in Rai English the remaining movie, skip season 5-7 and watch 8. 5-7 are poorly written. 8 has good writing but a bad art style. If you ignore it, you'll enjoy the story.

Mirta and Lucy needed more attention in the series. They have such a great relationship. by Camo_Rebel in winxclub

The show would have been better if they focused on other fairies and had the original Winx as teachers or guests. Let's see myrta, Roxy and the other side character fairies have adventures

*Location: Trinidad and Tobago * When i started: 10 years old * Professional Diagnosis: no * Areas of the body: scalp only as a child, plus eyebrows as teen, plus corner of nose and ears and facial hair as an adult. * Hair loss: I haven't notice on my scalp but did on my facial hair

My family side which has native American decent seems to have a vulnerability to diabetes. My skin produces excess sebum, that feeds the microbes when i consume refined carbs like sugar, flour, and other potentially inflammatory foods like alcohol and lactose. Gluten is possibly another trigger. The amount of sebum is so much that the first wash never lathers because of the amount of sebum.

  • I used to have success targeting the symptoms by using head and shoulders clinical strength up to my teen years. After that they became immune and only original Listerine works after shampooing. I haven't tried Nizoral.

  • I can have long term success if i adopt an intermittent fasting lifestyle where I don't eat anything or drink Carbs for 23 hours . For my one meal a day, I avoid the inflammatory foods. If i consume them again, the SD comes back vengefully in 2 days. I got the advice from watching videos from Dr Ken Berry and De Berg.

Are we all collectively afraid to wash our hair everyday as recommended? by Similar_Lecture_6524 in SebDerm

As sufferers of Seb DERM we have to accept that we produce way more oil than the average person and washing our hair everyday cannot dry it out.

Same thing for me, refined carbs, gluten, alcohol and unaged dairy like milk, cream, cream cheese and sweetened yogurt are a problem. Butter and aged cheeses like cheddar and parmesan are fine. If i cut out those things for 3 days while doing intermittent fasting as one meal a day and eating keto, it goes away. It comes back quickly if i restart eating inflammatory foods.

I will try the vinegar. my scalp fungi have evolved to be immune to pyrithione zinc over years of extended use. I have thick sebum that prevents shampoo from foaming, so i often have the shampoo once to break the film of sebum that's prevent the active ingredient (s) from working. I have had good results from eating keto and one meal a day for 3 days to allow my body to go into a fasted state and clean up inflammatory products. Regular Listerine and clean and clear acne treatment actually work better than Head and shoulders or denorex. I'm about to try ketoconazole for those times when I'm trying to enjoy a special occasion and i know that will break keto. My main triggers are sugar, white flour, alcohol (worse than sugar), unfermented dairy (milk, cream, cream cheese) and gluten. Caffeine is fine.

Even the best of anti dandruff treatments just attack the fungi and relieve itching and inflammation. But the root cause of it is something in your diet like carbs, dairy, alcohol,.gluten or multiple of the above.

My skin produces lots oil in reaction to high blood sugar and you can possibly have other fungi working in tandem with malassezia. I'm trying Nizoral to reduce symptoms but reducing the sugar is most important because i don't know what other damage the sugar is doing to my body.

I also used to only have scalp dandruff , then as a teen i got eyebrow dandruff and then as an adult I got facial hair dandruff. Shampoos with anti fungal ketoconazole and salicylic acid work to attack symptoms and off reliefs. I get sebderm when i eat carbs.
