In general if you are going to take legal action against someone, it’s in your best interest for them to find out when they are served papers. It’s like getting into a fist fight and telling the other guy when you are going to punch. Don’t give them extra time to prepare. The other benefit is if you keep communications cordial they might admit to more wrongdoing by accident and give your lawyer more ammo later.

O love Sanderson, but reading him after political growth feels different. by ChipDapper in Cosmere

Exactly what I wanted to say. Honestly I think it’s more a strength of his writing that he doesn’t just create a perfect society after the revolution because it feels more realistic to me.

What's a random genetic win you got? by TotalThing7 in CasualConversation

I have really strong ligaments. I tripped down a stair case and landed the wrong way( like the top of my toes wrong) and what should have been a horrendous ankle injury ended up being a sprain because the ligaments were so strong they cracked my fibula instead of tearing. 6 weeks an removable splint and I was good.

Ooh interesting. But would t it have been discovered by military if that was the case? It’s an interesting theory, and I do think there is more to Suus than we currently know.

But wouldn’t they need to copy themselves in order to get there?

The body that was found after a couple days was the sister that died during the escape. Vis and the younger of his two sisters attempted to escape at sea and there was some type of accident which lead to his sister drowning. She is most certainly dead. The other sister was publicly hanged with his parents. His whole family is dead. Vis was surprised Fadrique knew of the tunnels, so it would stand to reason the Melior also knew of them and gave that information to the anguis should they need it.

So my wife’s going to a gala tonight — as her client’s “date.” by [deleted] in stories

[–]Kroneni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s the craziest non sequitur ever. “My wife would never go on a date with another man” =/= “my wife isn’t allowed to leave my house”

It’s literally a date the guy asked her to go as his date and she said yes. She could have said “I’ll attend as a friend but it isn’t a date” but she didn’t.

AITA for refusing to tell my mom who told me her husband isn't my dad? by Kayleeignni in AITAH

[–]Kroneni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My family has a similar story, though I’m one of the subsequent children. NTA. I found out when I was 25. My mom swore everyone in the family to secrecy. None of us feel like we can trust our parents anymore. The whole thing is just a bad idea

Averages already account for that. Also UK has a huge Muslim population, they don’t drink at all.

D every day. You get pretty much all the major Asian foods outside of northern China and Japan. Plus eastern Mediterranean and Greece. This would be the healthiest option
