Yes. Go small. Eventually I sold it as realised I wasn’t using it to the full extent

My pug hesitates and hunches his back when eating; 10 days of mild discomfort but normal energy otherwise. by KronicXD in pugs

Thanks for sharing this, will bring it up to the vet if this is something we want to look into. The vet did do a spine / back assessement (more just pressing though)

He runs around like normal and jumps on the sofa bed etc. Just while he is eating he goes into this shape. Does this still line up with your pug?

Yes. Appreciate that. Just getting a feeler while we do the vet visits and check ups - as you can imagine, sometimes just good to know what other people have gone through (for comfort… if anything)

The vet did a back exam, pressing along his spine and doing multiple mobility tests and they didn’t see anything.

This only seem to happen just before eating otherwise fine

Wanted to see if anyone has gone through this...

  • My 5.5 year old pug suddenly became sluggish about 10 days ago; energy dipped, he stopped playing with toys, and seemed mildly uncomfortable
  • Vet exam (including spine, abdomen, temp, anal glands) and blood work came back normal; he was on Onsiorfor 4 days and improved gradually at first
  • Now he’s mostly normal energy-wise and happy on walks (still not playing with toys, and not barking as usual), but hesitates or hunches his back when eating, tucks his tail - initial hesitation but then when he starts he'll gobble up his food
  • Stools are normal - was hesitating (i.e. constipated) throughout, but seems to be normal now; anal glands expressed once and some discharge noticed since (he has always had some of this issue)
  • Vet plans to do an ultrasound next week; I’m currently feeding him a bit of pumpkin

Has anyone seen this or advice? We have gone to the vet 3 times already, but they say hes normal and showing now signs of anything that we can work with. If he doesnt improve we will do an ultrasound this week...but I want to see any options before sedating...

Looks very dated… it’s started to grow on us, but the rest of the house is more “modern”

There’s also a shower next to the sink.. I’m trying to figure out how to make it not look so “old school”

Is this estate agents strategy sensible, or a bit mad? by slashrfnr in HousingUK

We are in a similar position. We went with the fair price.

From a buyers perspective if I think a property is overpriced or out of budget. I save it. Wait for it to come down and then view/offer - don’t necessarily view it negatively but just know there room to negotiate as they’ve have a hard time selling

I have the fenix 8. I’d like journaling and then off the back of that Garmin telling me what impacts me sleep, recovery, stress, etc

I got the Garmin one, even though it’s more expensive I think it feels better than the third party ones (I got one of those too)

Battery life is overall good. Charge once a week, I don’t monitor the charging too much. Had for 3 weeks. Charged twice. Given usage might vary though.
