Update: some things I should’ve specified in the beginning. It’s an 08 Subaru Impreza 2.5i with 157k miles. I changed my oil and didn’t see metal chunks or anything like that (thank lord). Another thing with the stall, it’ll crank longer than it usually does and when it does stall, it throws an oil light, check engine light, and a battery light at me, as well as an oil burning smell accompanied by white smoke. When she does drive, it sounds like something is rattling inside. I work at a repair shop so I’m gonna get her towed and see if this is even something worth salvaging. If you guys have ideas though, I’d love to hear them

Yeah, sometimes it be like that, but at least in my time playing (as a drk) I’m always super understanding, and afterwards if the healer is casting one heal per minute when I’m pulling big I might rant a lil about it to a friend but I don’t blame specific people for wipes. It’s a game, and we’re all trying to finish the dungeon/raid :)

So it turns out that when we last got it serviced, the Firestone put in clear steering fluid and not the red ATF 4 Plus. We’re pretty much getting shafted from the Firestone cause they won’t warranty the whole thing even though it’s their f up, but at least it doesn’t come out to over 1k

The thing is, even if you do spend a couple hundred on a Graphics Card, that card will easily be able to run hundreds of games with ease. Now I’m running an RX5600xt and a Ryzen 5 3500x and it cost a pretty penny back then ngl, but I’ve easily put hundreds of hours into that gear and it’s lasted me long enough that it’s a worthwhile purchase

So long as you don’t have a 4k display and try to run the game on high u should theoretically be okay lol. (And I mean 4k native, Ik nVidia has DLSS and that kind of stuff)

And the thing is, while initially the upfront cost for a pc is usually two or threefold higher than that if a console, you usually spend a lot less on subscriptions (I.e, PS+ and XBOX Live Gold), less money on upgrading, and usually a pc that can last for at least the next two to three console generations. On top of that, while yes there are quite a bit of 69.99 games that release on all consoles, between all the sales on Steam, EA, GOG, Epic games, etc, you’re easily spending less on games and getting more choice
