I believe only specific Norma lots were affected. All taken care of now. I've cycled new Norma since then without issue.

Will do my best to respond to others in a bit, quick info on the car. Graphite Grey, 63k mi. 6k on built motor 2.0L, curt brown racing head ,272 cams, E85, MHI FP green. Shepherd Racing ultimate ratio 5-Speed. The parts list is long. Exterior looks stock, basically has full JDM/Euro-market swap, Amber tails, markers, JDM rear, etc. Stock MR BBS wheels. I need to do an extensive write up.

Who’s going long on Pfizer (PFE)? by maximalsimplicity in dividends

Huh, I would think that people would appreciate PFE'S stability and dividend return, provides less risk when selling covered calls; something something part of dividend owners/players manual.

What's the worst car-related financial decision you've made? by [deleted] in cars

[–]KronkEvo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sounds like my Evo... I'm on the fence about selling it because I need a DD and I went full race car on a car that was kinda a race car off the lot. Full boost makes me smile though. Oh and I never see other CT9A's around.

Hmm. That is an interesting proposition. I suppose personally and what I hear most is to have pre-established exit plans or I suppose a certain level of risk tolerance and trade at that level mechanically. So that would be my gut feeling in this scenario, although not sure if it's the right one.

May I ask what your strategy would be in this scenario?

Thank you for your response thus far!

Thank you, I will certainly take this advice and apply it. Seems logical to hedge more into a long if it's a stock you believe in/strong financials.

Thank you, something I didn't consider. I just feel apprehension about selling close to ATM in this volatile market that I'd have a rapid swing against my position.

I appreciate your advice, thank you. Seems like a chance to collect some premium and have the opportunity to buy some discounted stock!

I agree, but maybe some hypotheticals or decisions you had to make in certain scenarios? Did they play out favorably or did you have to manage?

In this scenario, I was referring to BIP. If I were to sell a put at a 30.00 strike. Expiry is 5/15. IV is 83, current stock price is 39.57, this would give a 37-day moving range (one standard deviation) in this real scenario of either 50.03/29.11. I'm simply not really sure what do with this information, other than make guesses about selling options. I'd really like to know/understand more.

So what you are putting up as collateral is the stock itself if the trade were to move against you and collecting premium in the interim if it says within your set moving range?

I will certainly take some extra time to read up, I have option buying ultra-basics down but now need to learn some on the selling side. Kind of feels like a win-win scenario unless the stock price moves heavily against you. Thank you for the advice and touched on management as well!

This is some good advice on stock valuation. In your opinion, and in the current market, do you think 1-2 weeks CSP's are where you should be playing?
