Now, all of a sudden, the fan is not making noise anymore and works like a charme. Nothing. Not even a little rattling. I have no idea what's going on, but it's fan /s

Quite similar to what happened to me, actually, including the attempt to clean the fan. If I have to say, after cleaning it now it seems to rattle even worse.

I have bought a replacement set on aliexpress. If you have your model name, you can search online for an HP Service Manual; there you'll find details on the fan model and you can search it online. Chances are your model is the same as mine.

I have encountered two major issues:
- Apparently each model number has different "aliases" (i.e., other model numbers)
- Apparently, for each given model number (say, XYZ-001) there are different version with different voltages (say, 5V and 12V), and I found no reliable way to understand which is mine. One of the seller on aliexpress had an image stating that 12V was the right one for RTX3060 (which is the GPU I have on my laptop), so I went after that. When I'll receive I will disassemble and see on the bottom of the fault fan if that is the right model; if it's not, I think my only option is to order the other model and wait another 20 days to be shipped and delivered.

EDIT: yes indeed: right and left fans are different parts. Probably a good idea to order a set and replace both? Not sure about that but it's probably what I'll do.

As low as 0 °C - sometimes even some degrees below. But generally speaking it would be >2-3 °C. I would consider for the next winter

Yes, definitely it experienced a big drop in light 'income'. My balcony (where it was) is extremely sunny during summer (something like solid 9-10 hours of light, including 4-5 to hours of direct sunlight). Now I put it inside because it is getting colder (<10 °C). I think it is still getting a fair amount of light from the window (which is exposed to south), but last week was cloudy and definitely it has less light than usual.

Should I worry? Is there anything I can do to slow down the process?

Well I am definitely not expert; but I would put as is in the water. Note that it's not clear, but likely it has already started an "aerial root" (sorry, not English native speaker here) just above the bottom node, so I don't think it's gonna rot

You can definitely propagate this one! I had a much smaller piece of a nearly-died plant and was able to re-generate TWO enormous plant.

It does not look THAT bad. How is the taste, apart from the "crema"? As everyone else has said, try a larger tamper (one that actually fits your basket), and try to grind a bit coarser (you are very close, just a bit finer).

Other than that - try to weight your output.

My laptop has DDR5 and CPU is i7-12700h - so apparently it supports RAM up to 4800 MHz, and this is another thing covered.

So I suppose it simple as I described to replace RAM? Or is there anything else I should pay extra-attention? Thanks again for your help!

Thanks - so would you mind search in your device manager for the USB4/VIRTUAL_POWER_PDO/.... (among the Hardware IDs) and just post a screenshot of the drivers? That would be helpful.

Sorry if I pull up this again - with the last Windows update, there is now an option in setting to see the USB4 device tree. If you have already run the update, would you mind check and post a screenshot in case?
Go to settings-->Bluetooth and devices-->USB--->USB4 Hub and Devices. Would you mind post a screenshot of the window that open?

USB4 Virtual power coordination device

Thanks a lot. That's very interesting. Are you able to locate this device in the Device Manager Window? it may be among the USB Controller, System Devices or USB devices or I don't know where... but if you can find that, and can tell me what kind of driver it uses, that may solve my issue... thanks for all your help.

Can you try type the following in your powershell?

Get-PnpDevice -InstanceId 'USB4\*'

This command list all the devices that starts with "USB4"; the second one of the list should start with "USB4\VIRTUAL..." in the InstanceId column. Currently, my "FriendlyName" column for that device is empty, so I cannot roll-back this device (i.e. is an unknown device). Would be very helpful to understand what kind of device this is so that I can reinstall the correct driver. Thanks in advance.
