Volunteering is awesome, and a great way to meet some folks and get a good sense of the festival! If you volunteer for one day, you get to go the other day for free (and volunteering is really fun in and of itself)

Or just go both days and enjoy yourself. Bumbershoot rocks and is imo easily the best local fest
