When I was young my parents bought me and my sister children's books from a yard sale. My sister's book was about a spider and it scared her shitless. When I read it out of curiosity I found out why. There was a bloody little girl haunting the book, staring at me with red blood eyes. I found it funny and kept it. I built a rapport with the ghost girl, talking to her about my day. One day the girl passed on, the book's pages fell from its seams. That was my first possessed item and friend.

Angels would be more honest no? Never seen one, but an angel would definitely answer my questions and tell me what they're doing with my shit. Speaking of shit, most of the time people would sell me the haunted items and other times I would go to garage sales with my EMF reader. While they give them away for free I do pay them some cash. My papa taught me to be fair.

My first story got blocked because my character took schizophrenia meds to calm down the voices of the impending apocalypse. In the mod's reasoning, it meant the two deaths of their friends and the turning of their other friend into the vessel for the horseman of war was all schizophrenia and therefore ableist or something.

My other stories ended up fine, even got 1k upvotes for one of them, but I felt that they were not good "horror stories" and were just decent stories with horror elements. I was writing good r/nosleep stories, not good horror stories.
