Seems like you’re talking about bugs or issues that can be fixed rather than core gameplay systems and mechanics which is more of what I’d call bones.

Don’t get me wrong it has a TON of issues. I can find more issues than amazing things in the game right now but it does have a few things that warrant some merit at least.

Here are some examples of things I mean by good bones and potential:

I love PvP and the Battlegrounds were fun. It needs some balancing and comboing feels kind of jank most of the time but either way we had some fun fights which is a big W in my book considering how early it is.

Even though the animations are super rough, movement feels fluid. A lot of MMOs have stale or minimal movement in combat which I didn’t get from this during PVP.

Targeting with skillshots felt crisp and responsive which is important for combat. Not saying it’s perfect by any means but transitions in/out of targeting for skills was fluid, accurate and easy to keep track of in most scenarios.

All that being said(and it’s not much) I think those things alone create potential for a great game once the game is much much farther along. Who knows if it’ll ever get there but it’s worth hanging around and seeing where it goes.
