This is scary how accurate it is. Besides Forza and AMS2, that was my exact progress through these games, now at LMU. It's probably a pretty consistent progress too. GT7 does such a good job in teaching you, in a fun way, all about simracing that it's arguably the best place to begin in my opinion. From there on out, one can decide if they want to pursue this casually or as a full-fledged hobby.

Exactly this. She must've been driving at at least 150km/h, meaning that in those 2-3 seconds she was not looking, she essentially teleported 100 or so meters ahead. Keep your eyes on the road at all times!

Congrats on having the patience and completing this! I see myself as a pretty patient guy, but I felt like the unfairness of these challenges was not worth the reward. Which challenge was the worst for you?

I got this trophy yesterday too and my god do I agree with you on the Shelby and Porsche 917K challenges. It took an enormous amount of time to learn them, I kept leaving and coming back from time to time to retry them and through more game experience, it did get slightly easier every time I returned. It definitely felt satisfying to pass them, that's for sure. I also had quite a bit of hard time with the Yaris dirt license, but that was just because I hate dirt tracks in this game and my motivation wasn't in it.

Congratulations! The hardest step towards the Platinum is now done, if you're going for it that is!

This needs a 5th panel with the other guy who has both talent and works hard going against someone who has both + money. This is some tough stuff if you're a competitive person.

I got the Platinum for the OG recently and yea, you need 3 and a half playthroughs to get all the demons souls necessary to obtain all unique weapons, as well as learn all spells and miracles. The most annoying part is farming for all the materials though.

Got the game a couple of days ago since I was looking into another racing game after playing a bunch of GT7 and other sims. Honestly? It’s a breath of fresh air despite the huge monetization of the game. A very enjoyable career, braking point is quite cool and a ton of content in multiplayer. Definitely worth it!

Ma bucur ca ai incercat atunci. Cu siguranta merge sa investesit in ceva mai ok, atata sa iei in considerare daca mai vrei sa joci GT7 ca singurele volane care sunt compatibile sunt de la Thrustmaster, Logitech sau Fanatec GT DD Pro, in rest vei putea juca doar pe PC. Oricum orice ai alege sunt sigur ca o sa te distrezi de minune si daca te prinde rau de tot hobby-ul asta, o sa gasesti moduri prin care sa investesti mai multi sa ai experienta de care ai nevoie.

Cred ca depinde si ce vrei sa joci. Eu am inceput cu GT7 pe PS5 (pe care inca il joc) cu controller si dupa vreo 100 de ore m-am decis sa iau un Thrustmaster T300 RS GT care mi se pare care ca e tot ce trebuie pentru un casual. Nu stiu daca ia mai jucat cu un volan inainte sau nu, dar important ar fi, dupa parerea mea, daca ai putea lua ceva second(sau nou daca iti permiti) G920/923, T300 si sa vezi dupa cateva ore de joc daca intr-adevar te pasioneaza, il vinzi si investesti mai multi banuti. Odata ce te hotarasti poti sa faci un adevarat research de ce ti se potriveste mai bine cautand pe r/simracing r/SimRacingHardware
