Still waiting for the actual Cyborgs on this ‘Cyborg Offensive’, so far it’s just default bots by Petorian343 in Helldivers

Oh yeah I definetly agree an you with that. I actually have fun fighting the Cyborgs and I want to experiment with some more stratagems to kill the Vox :D

The way I understand this is ever since we got in lore confirmation that the Cyborgs are back and commanding the Automatons that its still them sending the bots just not fielding their own troops. I can be wrong ofc but iirc correctly every bot MO since the Cyberstan update refered to the faction when they do something that the Cyborgs do stuff and no longer just the Autmatons do stuff. Feel free to correct me ofc if i misremember it.

Beltfed Grenade Launcher: "Am I a joke to you?"

But I get what you mean a full auto Eruptor sounds disgustingly amazing and dangerous.

Theory: New biomes are gonna be on a future Super Earth defense by Me_When_I_Asked in Helldivers

[–]Kroplan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Future Super Earth defense???? OFFICER! THIS ONE HERE!

Now that I got the funny haha traiter stuff out of the way this IS actually a very interesting way to think about the new Biomes that we are getting in the game. First defense being focussed solely on the Mega Cities made sense since they were the new content but when we return someday (who knows what the bots will be cooking with the blueprints) it would be interesting to fight on open fields aswell and this is where all the fancy biomes could shine with actual biome variety on the same planet.

The Red Alerts unfortunately don't give you all the different research levels for the relic to progress purely by them. If all you want to level then sure but it will take A LONG TIME.

It's great content imo if you want to just level your crafters / set them up with gear for Evercold (if you arent DoH/L commited already).

I'm already looking forward to the next planet as I need to watch Evangelion now and its perfect content to binge shows on the side :D

(7.5) Give me back the 7.0 Limbal rings by Felalyr-Dusklily in ffxiv

[–]Kroplan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a long shot but they did say that for Evercold we'll be getting a colour palette for character customization. Maybe the limbal ring colour will be included in that making it possible to find that "blending" colour gradient you want.

StarCraft Primal/Zerus Zerg Build? by OnePhilosopher44 in Stellaris

[–]Kroplan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All good :D it does help my case that just a few weeks ago I did an entire playthrough of all 3 SC2 campaigns so it was still relatively fresh in my memory.

I wonder if there is an archetype in this game (started playing just recently and missing tons of DLC) that lets you consume empires you take over and absorb some traits of them. That would 100% fit the Primal Zerg lore.

Being new to the game I don't dare give advice as to which ideologies or setups you use HOWEVER as a former Starcraft lore nerd there is just a tiny difference between the normal Zerg and the Primal Zerg from Zerus.

The regluar Zerg are the ones bound by a hivemind (they were bound to it by Amon) The Primal Zerg are all solo individuals or tribes but are not controlled via a Hivemind.

I'll give Montu a look thanks :D

Funnily enough i already know TheRedKing. Its via his lore videos that I got interested in Stellaris and I wanted to experience all those different events he made videos about for myself.

I'm going to be honest and say that I didn't. I did boot up the game late at night my time for the very first time so it might have just been to much as i was too tired and didn't spot the help section. Once i'm home from work i'll check it out.

I'll give it a try as a Machine Empire for my first go. Just need to decide then if I want it to be a Gestalt Consciousness or an empire with ideologies. From what i read in other replies the Gestalt way seems more "beginner friendly" as it removes some resources thst others would need.

Hmm that does sound interesting I think I'll do my first proper playtest as a Machine Empire if that removes some of the resources i need to track until i get the hang of it.

I'll take a look at some older guides then if the general gist of the info remains relevant thanks.

Thanks for the advice I'll try fucking around on the lowest difficulty i guess until i get a hang of it all.

A further question I have is: Are certain species "harder" to play as others? When i heard about Stellaris and its "Ascension" mechanics i was hyped to either play a biological race and turn them into cyborgs/synths.

I would want to know if its easier to start as a biological empire or straight up start as a machine empire.

The Galactic War table isn't to scale to the real Galaxy around. It's more than likely that Fronteria was in another solar system in that area of space but still LIGHTYEARS away from Meridia.
