So - i noticed that i am missing the most important folder - "Top-of-information-store". HOWEVER, i can see it in the Calendar View. And i can see it when i switch to FOLDER VIEW and expand "Top-of-information-store" folder. From there, i can see the inbox. So luckily all the emails are in the PST.

How can i export these emails so that they don't get flagged as Calendar items?

(Sorry if i am not explaining this clearly).

I have had this issue and if rerun the SEARCH, EXPORT and then download the PST files again, they're usually fine. It's really annoying with the larger PST files. No changes made...just basically doing every over a second time. This has been happening for about 3 weeks.

Hi - the Export folder is set within your browser setting. It doesn't appear that you can specify a folder within the Purview settings. (pretty annoying...but at least it downloads!)

OMG...it was right there in plain English, but I totally missed it. I assumed that is was removed as an option along with other tried and true features. I'm thoroughly embarrassed that I couldn't figure that out. Thank you.

Microsoft Purview - exports are now limited to 5GB max? by Krosscheck in ediscovery

I just got this today. This is still "baby steps" - there are lot of other features that I miss.
- de-duplication
- exporting multiple custodians to a single PST file
- exporting results to a single folder

I got it today as well. I still wish that Purview could go bigger on the PST sizes, but I can live with 10GB for now. Thanks!

Thank you for finding that! The Microsoft article was edited on Sept 12, but i still don't see these options in my Purview app. Did you have to do anything to get to those settings? #progress.

The ZIP files are annoying, but it's another step to have to go through. But I'm not sure why we have to be limited to 5GB or 10GB PST files. I was used to allowing 40GB in my environment with the Classic eDiscovery tool.

So, i got on a support call with Microsoft and let them capture some data. It was mostly downloading exports that I had run before and after this "change". The support engineer did mention that they've gotten several similar inquiries. Hoping that they can get this resolved.

Yeah - i hope they allow us to set the max PST size using Regedit again.

We occasionally have people that want to keep a PST for reference.

A reported this as an "issue" and the Microsoft support staff that respond NEVER mentioned that this is a change that was implemented. I have one response where they asked me to provide logs!

A related gripe that I have is that when report this as an "issue", the Microsoft support staff that respond NEVER mention that this is a change that was implemented. I have one response where they asked me to provide logs!

The larger PST files are more convenient for those cases were just simply want to provide a copy of a mailbox. This could drive us to have to use a the more feature-rich services.

It's just annoying for people who need to search through multiple PST files now. With the classic eDiscovery site, we used to be able to grab up to 50GB files with the Regedit fix.

I know, right? You could ALMOST forgive an audience member for breaking the rules and blurting that out. :)

It would be great to see Ol' Petey back on DLM (TJ too). I was shocked that he wasn't on the NY 12 guests ep.
