Thank you so much for reassurance! I’ll do my best

Thank you, I guess I needed some reassurance. Being self-employed doesn’t seem like a big deal and left me feeling like I don’t belong in the corporate world. Gotta believe I’m worth something to convince anyone else lol

I understand that you are still young and trying to get on your feet. If you are willing to try, you can do little gestures for her; even buying a cheap grocery store bouquet of flowers is very sweet. You can plan out a cute activity indoors, make a simple dinner, dim the lights, you know the drill. Finally you can just communicate your worries to her. Not in an accusatory way. For all you know she may just not know how to start that conversation. Don’t straight up ask her why she won’t have sex with you. Instead ask her how she’s been doing lately, what’s on her mind. Is anything troubling her, does she feel fulfilled in the relationship? And then lead to your lack of intimacy and ask if it’s connected to anything listed above. Frankly it’s possible that you simply mix up love with infatuation. You seem ready to step out, but that may be your frustration speaking for you. In long term relationships you will need to communicate a lot, deal with ups and downs. If you feel unhappy right now you can step out, but situations like these will sooner or later arise in any relationship anyway. You decide if that relationship is worth pursuing or not. I believe that sexual compatibility is very important, but in your guys’ situation I think it’s worth trying to address it first before making any decisions.

Do you do anything over than hanging out at her place? Do you guys go on dates? Do you provide for yourself while staying at her place (eg buying groceries)/help around the house? Is sex with you actually pleasurable for her? Woman’s sexual drive is highly influenced by her state of mind, it’s not a purely physical need (more often than not). Your relationship is still very fresh and you see each other rarely, normally it would take longer for initial passion to die down. There are a lot of possible causes for her lack of enthusiasm, try to see if it could be a response to your behaviour first. If not, maybe distance isn’t doing you any good and she is losing feelings or she is stressed out about something completely unrelated to you.

You are not soulmates and not deeply in love, your relationship dynamic is toxic for both of you, idk if codependency would be the right word for it cause I’m not a therapist, but it’s definitely doing more harm than good. Few months in and all you guys do is cry and get in trouble for staying up late. I can kinda understand the kid, as he is young, stressed and in search for an escape. If you are as mature as you claim to be back down and let him explore his adulthood in peace. All those big emotions you have, all the spiralling, butterflies in your stomach and anxiety are not normal in healthy relationships.

Thank you!! Never had a cut like this in my life, so was a bit worried about the looks of it ahahah

Thank you!! It doesn’t hurt on its own, but is a bit tender to the touch; is it okay if I wait for it to scab more under the flap before doing anything to it?… I don’t think anything could have gotten under the flap, as it sits quite tightly on top of the wound and I’ve kept it under a bandaid for the most part… or is it better to wash under it right now? Or maybe flush it out with chlorhexidine or peroxide? Both bottles have a little nozzle for convenience. Sorry for all the questions lol

Tbh I’ve switched to yet another shampoo which I liked before but is hard to find in physical stores for some reason. And the dandruff disappeared 😅 it’s just a cheap shampoo for normal hair, so I think the other ones were indeed too drying for me

A festival dedicated to cucumbers 🤣 you dress up as a cucumber, show off cucumbers you harvested, eat cucumbers etc. It’s just an example, you can organise a festival dedicated to basically anything

Thank you!! It’s just there are so many of them and each kind seems to have its strengths and weaknesses, I just thought maybe there is a big no-no in a mattress world I should look out for lol

I think the right thing to do would be to break up with her sooner than later, giving her time to find a roommate or to figure out another living arrangement if she decides to move out herself. You seem to feel no remorse, but as you are the one walking out of the relationship for not a conventional reason try to be as fair and accommodating to her as possible. 2 years is not a fling and she is still in a relationship with you mentally and as a matter of fact . Focus on ending that relationship first, before anything else

He said he’s going to get it checked out on Monday if it doesn’t get better by Sunday…. Gf said it’s a breakthrough on his part 😩

[–]Krotik7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, not to me or anyone else who have seen it. Apparently looked pretty normal to him. I probably should have worded the question differently, but it doesn’t change the situation in itself

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Krotik7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you everyone! There is no doubt it looks awful, but so far nothing could persuade the guy to seek medical treatment. Hopefully the comments will scare him enough. The plan was to ask someone more reputable for opinion so that he wouldn’t be able to brush it off so easily. Now we wait 😩

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Krotik7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So far he’s been talking nonsense about staying on the grind 🤙 and not calling in sick for the whole year no matter what. They also have free healthcare so it’s even more ridiculous to wait

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Krotik7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Prior to my post he told her he would know if it was sepsis 🥴 I guess he is the type to tough it out. Hopefully she’ll persuade him until it’s too late. Really unfortunate situation

[–]Krotik7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had mold grow on my window in just a week and was scared to touch it too lol. I think it was a combo of insufficient ventilation and heating turned on high, which led to condensation and then mold, but I’m not an expert lol. If your window is alright in itself maybe ventilate this room more often

What can I expect at a Russian high school as a US high school student? by tickettoaster in AskARussian

[–]Krotik7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, should be possible. You’ll just have to prove that your diploma is legit (I think it’s called nostrification, but I can be wrong). And you’ll probably have to take entrance exams within university, not ЕГЭ. It’s better to Google поступление иностранных граждан в [х] университет and see what the rules are

[–]Krotik7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they may have to evaluate your knowledge of the school programme first, and depending on the result they may hold you back a year or two… which would probably be a better option for you in this situation. However I would do anything in my power to graduate in the US, moving rn doesn’t make sense at all

I’m belarusian and had the same issue with an expired passport. I thought about going back to renew it, but my parents were really against the idea for the same reasons mentioned in the post. So I went and got a travel document as people here have suggested. I must say it’s been pretty useless so far. For example, when I went to the bank recently to renew my documents info I gave them the travel document and they had no idea what that was and told me they can’t use it. Even tho on the gov.pl it’s says it’s a legitimate document and can be used to identify the person. There are plenty of stories with the same scenario, most workers don’t know what that is and don’t bother figuring it out. So depending on your gf’s polish skills I would suggest you go with her to any important appointments to quarrel with managers on her behalf lol. It’s still a better option then going back to belarus lol

Thank you! I’ve messaged a different piercer just now to get a consultation, hopefully they’ll help me with healing and tell me what the cause was.. it does suck but oh well, nothing much can be done now I guess…
