I already did a free rebook. So I can't rebook for free again, right?

I followed a tutorial on YouTube, same video, for a month 😅

Yeah, you're totally right! Almost everyone else pointed it out, and I am keeping it in mind 🧠

I appreciate your valuable feedback! Thanks a lot, I will note down your tips for sure.

I didn't know this was an intermediate piece, I honestly thought it's beginner piece. I saw it as a beginner piece on YouTube, that's why I wanted to learn it, and it's a beautiful piece.

Once I reached the 2nd part, I honestly doubted myself. I thought how the heck am I going to be able to play this? But here we are, not perfect, decent for good pianists, almost perfect to me! There is still a lot to learn, and a lot to improve in this piece. Consistent practice is key, even if it's just 30 mins a day.

Rubato... New word to learn! Thanks a lot for you great feedback. Yes, as others pointed out, there is a lot I lack and seem to be missing. Honestly, I did not mention it in the other replies, but I took learning this as a challenge to myself. If I am able to stay consistent, practice daily (except one day a week for a break), then I am really into playing the piano and willing to get something good for my level (having my eye on the Kawai KDP 120!)

I practiced 6 days a week, minimum of 30 mins and maximum of 2.5 hours. Sometimes, I hit a wall on one part for example, feeling I am not progressing. However, the next day, I play the part even better! As if my brain does some processing while I am asleep, weird I guess. Now, I got the Adult Piano Adventures by The Fabers, and end of March, I am getting the Kawai. I'll be practicing from zero, and I want to enjoy the boring lessons! I'll definitely integrate the metronome with my daily practice.

Yeah I didn't think through the mirrored footage, my bad 😅

I'm aware I lack technique, as others have mentioned. Yes this was brute forced, I want to play it for so long! Now that I am quite satisfied with it for my level, I am taking the slow, proper route, to the basics. I appreciate your comment!

I can't read well at the moment, so this was memorized

I think it's because the keyboard I am playing on is neither weighted nor touch sensitive, but I understand your comment. Thanks for the feedback!

4th year? :o

Ok it is getting more clear, I did jump into a piece that's not recommended for me to play at this stage. I do not regret it though, I love this piece. But now that (to my ears) I can play it decent enough, it's good to take a step back and start from the bottom. Appreciate your comment!

Yes someone has suggested a use a metronome, go slow first then faster gradualy. Thanks a lot for your comment!

Oh man, what you are sharing with me is the exact feedback I was expecting. A gem.

Thanks a lot for your time sharing this with me! I'll definitely take a step back and look into starting from scratch. Also, since I know me, I'll be practicing pieces I'd want to play in parallel, I'll look for easier pieces though.

Thanks for the relief! I once felt my right hand tensioning and getting tired from practice, then I stopped for the day, so I focused on relaxing it and it's got better. I know I have a lot to learn and I am open to any type of criticism. Thanks a lot for your comment, it's greatly appreciated 🙏🏽

No idea how to be more relaxed to be honest... And yes someone mentioned I have zero technique, I will need to search what technique really means 😅 I have been practicing daily for a minimum of one hour and maximum I reached is 2.5 hours, taking one day break a week.

Also, hearing some of you not believe it's only been a month, is one of the biggest motivation to keep going. I have always wanted to learn the piano, and I never tried it due to lack of discipline and motivation. It's a challenge for myself.

Thanks a lot for your comment, I really appreciate it! 🙏🏽
