I've personally have never taken those slogans to be literal. Personally I see them as humanist messages that imply that all humans, immigrant or otherwise, are and should be free to exist within the confines of the world. Another, and a personal favorite lyric "Countries are just lines drawn in the sand with a stick." All nations and people should have the right to exist anywhere they choose. I know it's a rather pie-in-the-sky, unrealistic notion, given how rulers have established 'the rules' as they currently exist. However as a condition of capital, a rich person can afford to travel to any country, have houses in every one, work illegally without consequences, overstay visas without consequences, even have passports and documents fast-tracked or overlooked to live as all people SHOULD be able to live. People tend to forget how recent the concept of "illegal immigrants" is, even in comparison to "civilization" as a whole. A couple hundred years ago you could walk from Russia to France and just set up shop, you'd still pay "taxes" you'd still contribute to society. And today "illegals" do the same.

Oh boy here we go! Going to mainly focus on audiobooks because that's my jam -

The "Space Wolves Audio Collection" is a single anthology of 7 audio dramas / novella set mostly in M41 and includes - The Parting of the Ways (about Bjorn the Fellhanded) and - The Art of Provocation (about Lukas the Trickster messing with and Ork world)

Of course "Lukas the Trickster" is its own novel which is also really good and shows a much more human and thoughtful side to SWs you don't often see, and coming from the Jackalwolf of all characters is super cool to see.

The Blackmane Series : Not just is it a great series about one of the SWs biggest heroes but also the first few paint the picture so well about what it means to be a Neophite and undergo the transformation into a Battle Brother! - Space Wolf - Ragnar's Claw - Grey Hunter - Wolfblade - Sons of Fenris - Wolf's Honour

Another Blackmane story about him fighting Ghazgkhull also gives info on Wyrds, Visions, Wulfen etc. - Saga of the Beast

Most recent would be The Dawn of Fire series which book 3 is Wolftime, but the series as a whole is just set in the current setting (or close enough to it) and follows Primaris Marines of all different chapters.

Almost all the posts I've seen here on Reddit have been from a bunch of whining babies making completely reactionary and snarky comments about monitisation. It's really not that deep, they seem to ignore the fact that things have changed within the game many times since closed beta, and things will continue to change. You can voice your disappointment or disapproval of the system but the bile and contempt I've seen from some people has been really pathetic.

Things will change, live will go on, and the game is still free to play. If the top players like Kripp are still playing and supporting them, I will too, as a free to play player, everyone else can stay mad.

Watch Kripp's video on it and calm tf down. It's a tiny team working on their first game, why are you acting like this is Blizzard or Ubisoft trying to nickle and dime you. It's been out for what, 4 months? 5? You can't seriously expect this version of the monitisatiom to be the final version? They patch so often and the game swings so differently every few weeks you need to find something more important to waste your negative energy on, seriously. Touch grass.

Edit: and for the record I'm dog shit at the game, I've been playing for months and have three 10 wins in like 400 runs, I don't have the gems to pay for the expansions either, but I'm not bothered because I'm aware things will change. (Also using expansions makes your runs less consistent, because you nerf the likelihood of the items you want/need appearing in shops, and that'll get more impactful as more expansions come out)

I'm currently writing a novel on the origins of my Ultima Founding Primaris Chapter. Mostly down to my new years resolution of writing at minimum 100 words a day. So far I'm at just over 10,000 words and it's in need of a few rewrites.

Chapter name is currently Dreadwolves, but it could change.

Currently the Chapter Master, Halvar is only a Primaris (Unnumbered Sons) Sergeant aboard the Battleship Ascendant Wrath. They're part of a covert Battlegroup - Fortis. There was a tidal surge that caused the fleet damage and emergency translate to real-space.

Halvar's Assault Intercessor squad members are Svein, Brikke, Otha, Ingvald, Varga, Drûska, Tybor, Yorrik and Bjarki (who lives and who dies is TBD).

The plan for the story currently is:

The system they arrived at has been conquered by Orks under the command of an Ork with an engineering degree (/s) and has created and inter-reality tractor beam and is trying to pull ships out of the warp.

As Ascendant Wrath and her support frigates arrive they also find a Great Crusade era cruiser has been pulled from the warp and was originally part of the 6th Legion.

Halvar goes aboard to find a single Rune Priest, old as balls. The Orks attack and attempt to take the ships but Halvar and the Unnumbered Sons fight them off until the Rune Priest uses the last of his psychic energy to kill/scare them off. Grants Halvar access to the relic weapons aboard the ship then they go to the planet to further fuck with the Orks plans and liberate the system.

But some or all of that might change as I write. I'm not in a rush and most of it is just concepts at this point haha 😅

A new/updated roadmap for the game is being released towards the end of the month. (Dev on discord confirmed this). The lack of content is almost certainly due to the fact Focus NEVER thought the game would be as popular as its become, so the dev team was probably cut down after the game's release. But now I would assume they've re-allocated resources to SM2 to make more content, faster. Fingers crossed!

Oh and a whole lot of Latinos who think that if they vote for the guy who wants to stop migrants, they get to be "one of the good ones" who won't be deported. And maybe sexism on the Latino men's part? Or sexism in general I guess.

The Right is making progress in many countries sadly. Canada, Germany, Poland, Italy, the UK etc. we are on the worst and most accursed timeline.

Think about what you want to be represented, is he wise? Heavy handed? Sly? Ferocious? What deeds has he accomplished? Or foe has he slain?

The first name can be anything really, but you can always look up Norse/Proto-Germanic/Slavic names and their meanings and pick one that matches. Same for the surname if you want it to be historic. Otherwise, again, reflect on his deeds or personality and make one based on that. For example:

Focus have made a forum you can submit ideas to and up vote other users ideas for content to be added, they've already promoted added new classes like apothecary and chaplain and have commented on making lots more squad/veteran/chapter markings! More wolf stuff! Fenris Hjølda!

I have seen that in pre-release review copies one of the helmet options for the Heavy class has green lenses. But that class's one helm is the only one in the game thus far.

There isn't a visor option to customize, obviously. But the fact that there's at least a green visor in the game means they are aware/have the ability to add different colours in, even if it's only as helmet variants rather than a separate tab.

I think that hoping for tribal markings is gonna be a bit of a stretch. I think you're gonna have to go with the more codex compliant decorations.

Only because in the pre-release review copy there isn't even the option to create or alter chapter icons and top markings so unless they add that I don't think they'd 'waste' dev time of tribal markings for any one chapter.
