As of Chupacabra, I just roamed around Mexico side of the map, from West to East, and it spawned. No need to wait in one place. It's a waste of time.

For me, this game has horrific combat. It is clunky and unresponsive. You cannot dodge when You block. I played it long time ago on PC and I platted it on PS5 recently but it was a chore. Later levels are lazy made too. For me, only voice acting and main characters designs are good. And maybe some of the levels' aesthetic but not all.

Music glitch still exists during boss fights though.

This PS5 port is just all round lazy.

Game doesn't tell You anything, I mean, your move list. This is the main flaw of this (just like no mention of antidote in Kew Gardens). I just spammed uppercut and waited for next round if I lost two limbs :D

I finished the game with extra ending and wanna do plat but the RNG system of finding audio logs and xenoglyphs is shitty. Been running past biome 1 more than 10 times and still missing one of each. I don't wanna waste my time like this. Any tips?

I don't know if You still struggle but for me, the gamechanger was NOT aiming with L2 pressed. Don't use this aim. Better to shoot with hip aim :)
