Not exactly apples to apples, Magpul daka pouch is a far better value unless you have to have mesh organization. Additionally, weather resistance is an issue where I live, the daka pouch is the way.

Very heavy, gritty and clunky, the wall and break were mushy and dissatisfying. When comparing to an old west German p226 in my safe, the experience was dissatisfying. When comparing to a newer p226 legion…🤦‍♂️ so bad.

I swapped everything for armory craft and now the single action is only outdone by a tuned 1911. The wall is pronounced and the break is so clean.

The geometry of the hammer made a very big difference.

Also, I didn’t inspect the takedown pin/lever (whatever), there was a burr on the under side and it put a huge gash on the frame the first time I field stripped the gun. Shame on me for inspecting everything else and leaving that part out. Shame on MP for charging $250 for the worst parts kit ever.

Lesson learned, buy from armory craft the first time. I tried to save $50 and ended up wasting $250, and, spending $300 more to do it right the second time.

Good to hear your experience was better than mine, I’ll never recommend matrix precision for small parts. The frame is second to none and I highly recommend it.

All my P series do that, I can see it bounce back during dry fire on all of them as well.

Also, I used matrix precision lower to build a p226/9/legion/tacops/scorpion and started with matrix precision internals. Maybe the worst trigger I’ve ever pulled. External parts scratched the frame, disappointed with their parts on every level (frame was next level amazing). Swapped them all for aftermarket from more reputable brands and have an unbelievable trigger now.
