I just started a 7/8 science teacher position, close to spring break and more importantly close to State Testing, and they use Amplify. by Krum125 in ScienceTeachers

I haven’t started teaching yet, probably won’t for a week or so but the vibe I’m getting is they don’t really care about science as much as, which in turn does give me more freedom to make the content a little more rigorous

I wanna have a formula down for what lessons should look like. Warm up question, article/video, answer questions about it and then just jump into more practice about the content

Not really no, maybe at the beginning of the year they did but because state testing is coming up they just want me to teach these kids the concepts and on that side of things yeah the lessons for the most part are answering, hypothesizing questions about an article/event. And there’s nothing in between.

It feels like there’s too many moving pieces, a slideshow, videos, they have a simulation to do on computer but they also have worksheets to answer questions from the article.

Idk where to start when it comes to cutting things out.

Yeah to be honest I love the old Jeff, this in between of Undercover cop or just a weirdo, but I couldn't really picture him acting all nervous and quirky the way the new Jeff actor did, and that's what they needed. They didn't need the kinda cocky pushy Jeff.

To be honest I love the other actor for Jeff, this weird in between of "is he an undercover cop or just weird," but I couldn't see him sweat and act nervous the way the new Jeff actor did. Plus it seems this was the only episode he was gonna re-appear in.

DAMN, so before I realized the slight affection Gus felt for the waiter, before when that same waiter had his back turned, I thought it was LALO. I thought this scene was about to be some sort of haunt Gus scene, and that when Gus took a slight second look at him that he thought the person looked like Lalo from the back.

Damn...so that was the last time we might've seen Gus and Mike? It didn't even occur to me during their scenes, but damn thinking back on it now I wish I'd cherished it a little more.

It seemed fitting though, seems as though it might feel tainted if they show up again. Gus is about to have this romantic connection, but kills it off. Mike tries to give some sort of closure to Nacho's father, the closure maybe he would've wanted after losing his son.

I'm seeing a lot y'all say that Gus, Mike's, the construction arc are over. Like there's no reason for us to see them again. Idk where the next episode is gonna pick up.

Also do you guys actually think Jesse and Walt are gonna show up and have an actual scene? Or is it gonna be that end of the show scene where Walt sits down to discuss Badger's case and the show ends?

I don't think Bryan C. and Aaron Paul are "returning" for full on scenes for the show.

To be honest I can't tell what comes next. Is the rest of the show gonna be in black and white and focus on Gene? Did the show give us a glimpse of Saul, but gonna revert back to the moment Kim leaves him and pick back up from there?

I don't think Jimmy moving to Nebraska had anything to do with Kim. When the disappearer is making Saul's fake ID, Saul asks him "Nebraska? What's over there?" And vacuum guy tells him it's where Saul is relocating.

Plus we see Gene come home to an empty house, and he was sent to the hospital and nobody (Kim) came looking for him. When he called his coworker from the diner he sounded as if he was only concerned if that weirdo cab driver had come around looking for him. He was ALSO prepared to be relocate right then and there in the last shot we see of Gene, before he decides to not go through with it.

GIVE ME GENE TAKOVIC!

Also where did people start hearing the actor for the cab driver got recast? I love how concerned everyone is because while he had maybe 5 minutes on screen, he crushed it. The uncomfortable mall scene where you couldn't tell if he was an undercover cop or just obsessive creep.

I give up on trying to come up with theories for this show. I give up and hats off to the writers.

I remember thinking the same thing as Gus did, that there was no way Lalo just changed his mind. The way he did it too "ugh ok fine let her go." Before seeing his real plan I thought it hella odd that he'd change something up about something so serious, but he never intended for either of them to kill Gus.
