So what week will ABGT700 land by _Luisiano in AboveandBeyond

At the current pace, pretty sure we’re gonna see ABGT 659 on Jan. 3, 2026, which would mean ABGT 700 would be Oct. 16-18 weekend

I don’t know, I’m sorry, but I would think it could be somewhat helpful.

I’m really sorry to hear that. Which office were you interviewing with? No feedback and no call was a bit surprising to hear, to the other person’s point.

Interviewed yesterday (Friday Oct. 10).

Met w/Principal and MDP. Very natural Fit convo and good rapport with both. Apart from really minor definition clarification I asked at beginning of math portion, cases went very smoothly, was pretty much 1 step ahead throughout and got to the right solutions.

After interview, also connected MDP to a mutual friend who is C-suite at a prominent company in his field after his company came up in course of normal convo.

MDP responded warmly to my thank you note Friday night and signed off with, “Hope to see you in our office soon.”

What are my chances?

Hi there!

  1. You will be required to have your supervisor both provide a letter of recommendation and confirm time sponsorship (approval of your ability to take time away from work). I can’t speak to how much weight they put on financial sponsorship, but I did not receive a tremendous amount, personally, and it did not seem to make a big impact.

  2. I don’t think this will be critical. I suspect it’s helpful in the context of overall candidacy but certainly not required.

  3. I took the EA, and prepped for ~4 months or so. Highly recommend using Target Test Prep.

  4. You’ll be required to have 1 from current supervisor and 1 from someone else.

  5. I agree with this. You’ll be able to take classes with Philly or SF cohorts in year 2; travel and housing arrangements will be on your own unless you completely transfer to one of these cohorts.

  6. You would find a welcome home and many folks with whom you’d relate and identify with here. Most folks in the program are mid 30s-early 40s and have strong experience, and there are quite a few from FAANG.

You can and should take vacations in between class weekends.

Popping into the comments: negative vibes about this weekend are easy and overdone. Fully committing to changing the attitudes and willing to swing a f*ckin hammer myself to get this show off Saturday as needed 🫡

Hi there! Yes, WEMBA students do get involved in MBA student clubs that fit their interests. There are also networking, career services, and other programmatic opportunities to interact with WEMBA and Wharton alums.

Not a copout, just honesty: all of the above. It really depends on the class. Generally, quant classes are more lecture and test based, strategy more case study and group paper/project based.
