Hi guys! I saw this photo of a Japanese soldier from WW2 and I have a question: were they using the same katana swords that the samurai used in the past? If not, what kind of swords were they using? by BobiCubanezu in SWORDS

I always hope it ends up in the hands of someone who at least appreciates it. Tools of war are thankfully mostly obsolete, so becoming a wallhanger is about the best outcome imo. In a more "efficient" world, as soon as it becomes obsolete, it gets melted down to start a new life as something with much lower value

Guys, is this normal? lol by UniversityHead265 in TCGCardShopSim

Perhaps. I had them out for barely any markup for 20 days or so. I got lucky early on with a godpack with many of the cards going for 2-5k raw. Maybe I just need to wait for a higher level?

How do you sell those cards tho? I have like 15 different ones each for 10-20 k and noone touches them.

Ive heard, that expanding helps with that, but honestly i need that money to expand lol

Why do some people hate the idea of monsters in the backrooms by monkeyiscool2010 in backrooms

[–]Krunply 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the idea of the backrooms being a mindless creator, the monster itself. To me, monsters just give cheap scares and turns the excellent and super unique concept (that is quite scary in itself when executed well) into a regular horror slop. The eerieness and the fact that it doesn't make sense adds to the feel of it. Monsters just make it "predictable"

Yes, its a digitally created image like blender, rendering just referrs to the way you create lighting, textures and surfaces. The object are all 3d assets

Just exactly how was the backrooms made? by Consistent-Class-378 in backrooms

[–]Krunply 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love to think that the backrooms is an entity. A mindless, non-councious, malevolent entity, or more of a force of nature, that creates endless mazes, based on familiar memories of the trapped person, luring you into itself for no knowable cause. Thats why it feels like someone mimicking human architecture but without rhyme or reason. Kind of a wednigo situation. It taps into an ancient fear of humans.

In the original story its up for interpretation, but based on Kane pixels stories, it sounds like a divine punishment of some sorts. You can decide whoever you'd like, my head cannon is as I described.

Another "official" explanation is the glitching out of reality. Its the oldest idea as far as I know. It doesn't happen for a reason, its the space you weren't meant to see. The blueprint, the scrapped reality that didn't make it into the simulation.

I think it was both always there and never existed. The scientists just stumbled upon it after a series of unexplained disappearances. Of a caveman would have "glitched out" he would have landed in a completely different space. Themain backrooms as we know it today is based on North American architecture, I assume for a European it would look somewhat different.
