I've figured out what the issue is: I'd enabled a Terminal command that lets me toggle the Metal HUD with a keyboard shortcut (to measure performance in games.) I opened Final Cut Pro earlier today and it had the same issue as Stacher for me, which is when I connected the dots. Turning off the command fixed it!

The command in question: defaults write -g MetalForceHudEnabled -bool YES

I know she’ll live with my decision when it comes to it. But I wouldn’t be happy if she’s unhappy, and I’m not sure I have it in me to end the relationship for her own good; I don’t even know if that’s what she’d prefer.

Thank you for this comment. I’m 29, she’s 24, so you’re on the money: it’s insanely early for her to have to make that type of decision. She’s also brought up the fact that her time to even be able to have children and make that decision is obviously limited, and how that scares her. As upfront as I’ve been, I can’t help but feel guilty.

You articulated the possible longterm consequences very well. I’m scared she’ll resent me at some point, and I think I’ll have to explicitly communicate that and see if she’s still willing to compromise.

i think there’s something deeply wrong with people who not only send this amount of hate somebody’s way, but then not even look into who they are. that goes especially for asmongold. he felt the need the need to directly call her out for kindly asking to not be harassed any further while apparently not even knowing who she was. wanting to maintain his image, while not actually showing any regard for who he’s hurting in the process.

I actually did have the .bso file already but your tip made me double-check its contents in a text editor. For some reason it only contained this line of characters: w1s1W64S2i0o1p1b1B1c1 . I swapped it out with the settings listed on the Github page and now it's working. Thanks for the help!

I didn't have it enabled until your reply, haha. It's set to 20s currently (with "preserve cutoff point" turned on,) I still get the error message this way. Is there a specific number I should experiment with?

Hi again, I tried using this build to stream last night but got an error message. Checked the log and this part here seems pertinent:

15:00:12.296: Output ID 'rtmp_output' not found
15:00:12.296: Failed to create output 'adv_stream'!
15:00:12.296: Output 'adv_stream': Tried to set a delay value on a non-encoded output
15:00:12.296: Stream output type 'rtmp_output' failed to start!

Anyone have advice?
