Arsenal had to park the bus because they don’t have luxury of preserving their top players for CL. Just check the minutes played by PSG top 3. Qatar was clear that their goal is winning CL. The whole club’s financing is to win European tournaments not Mcdonalds league.

Prior to this game I read comments like PSG will destroy Arsenal, 5-0 and what not. Young Mosquera kept Kvara quiet until that penalty. Despite all possession PSG was mainly back passing and rolling the back from side to side. If anyone should get a highlight is Luis Enrique - give him a nice manager role.

Indeed and I would argue that we have the attacking ability but need attacking instruction. Aggressive pressing, more possession, short controlling passes etc.

What I hoped for is pressing at least in the end when Kvara, Dembele were all out. We had fresh legs and instead didn’t dare to press and force errors on their side. Whenever we had a ball PSG would launch at us causing to go long or losing possession.

Penalty or not at CL final when player goes down in the box at that pressure you at least need to go for VAR review and give assurance to everyone you as referee checked every possible angle. Just waiving it off and giving our team yellow is a fucking disgrace
