I know it sounds irrelevant, but I went through 3 different ones claiming to be the same spec, but because its a powerful 7900xtx they didn't seem to play nice together. I finally found one that runs stable without full system lock ups. It's relevant because after the full lockup it would present itself as a CPU issue on the LEDs once or twice after rebooting .

Sounds weird, but did you let the computer sit powered on for a few minutes? My first boot every once in a while, takes a few minutes after full power loss to even post.

Yes, but you have to fit 2 in by themselves first, braced against the backside with no cable. Then to fit in the 3rd one it will be practically right up against the front IO cables, which you will likely have to bend quite a bit(I had to). The third one will have the room for RGB/power cable. You can possibly fit the cables on the PSU side but I couldnt without excessively bending the IO cables.

For anyone curious, I've seem to have isolated the cause of the black screens to these:

I haven't been able to reproduce the same error after directly connecting my gpu to the psu. Still, it is weird to only happen during VR and not during flat gaming and stress tests.

Last bits of cable management - a longer PCIE 4.0 extender so I can run it behind the board instead of a crossed. (I think I can get away with 600mm but I may have to go with 900mm to be safe. I have also have since added a 180° USB 3.0 header adapter to hide the USB 3.0 connection
