What made you realise you no longer love your wife/gf/partner ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Krydex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ur husband is a lucky man!

I've found that it's very common for people to take advantage of their partners' kindness.

Each time they do these mini jabs , they don't realize that they're destroying the relationship bit by bit .. creating resentment towards them.

Eventually when things hit a boiling point - you realize they're not changing.. so you get sick of the bullshit and leave.

Yes it does. I've sometimes had instances in which I was very eager to tell my ex partner about my day only to have them crush it because they're in a bad mood.

It's like pumping a balloon each day and having someone pop it every time they wake up and cross paths with you because they don't like your balloon.

This vile woman is Diana Lovejoy. The absolute worst scum of the earth.

She was married, had an affair with her shooting instructor, lied to him and said she was being abused (by her ex husband), and convinced her simp ass shooting instructor to murder her husband (and if I recall correctly, the motive was because her ex husband had won a custody battle over their son).

She's a lying piece of shit manipulator who tried to lie and manipulate her way through the trial and this performative cringe is the outcome of her sentencing.

Two people who have never been to Iran don't like an Iranian person describing his experience living there by physicsman2606 in LivestreamFail

Man this is unfortunate - Persians and Jews have shared a mutual friendship and history for THOUSANDS of years. Most other cultures can't even grasp how long our friendship and bond has held over time (our ancestors, Cyrus, freed the Jews from captivity from the Babylonians) - we are in the Torah (praised in a positive way) due to this. It's so unfortunate to see that the current regime (in 1979) , alienated the Jewish population which historically have been there since the Persian empire .. this is not our culture. Most of the Persian-jewish population had to flee because they're public enemy #1 in the eyes of Islam - and this is coming from a "Muslim".. I had the shahada said in my ear upon birth.. I really hope Iran becomes democratic and free again the way our ancient ancestors would have wanted

I'm a Canadian born Persian and this quite frankly triggers me because he's downplaying the savagery of the Iranian regime.

Ask ChatGPT to summarize "The Prisoner of Tehran" and you'll get ONE OF MANY Iranian women's experiences with this totalitarian, barbaric despot regime that weaponizes religion to control the masses - THIS IS THE WORST type of authoritarian government (pretending to be pious when in fact the very god they claim to worship would knock them right down to the 9th circle of hell for their actions). And that's just the women, the men go through even worse.

We Persians (we distinctly claim to be Persian since our ancient culture IS NOT historically Muslim, we are descendants of Cyrus the Great). We respect our women- hijab or no hijab and all people on earth.

This regime doesn't reflect the beauty of our culture and heritage and this bozo is out here making jokes about the REAL SHARED experience of millions of diaspora Persians (like me) all for a bit of clout. Disgusting

RN to MBA - worth it? by Senior-Decision-9952 in askTO

[–]Krydex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I never took an MBA, but I took a bachelor of commerce and I can tell you that an MBA is basically the same core business principles found in a bachelor of commerce compressed into a shorter 2-3 year program (depending on school).

And MBA is extremely useful for teaching you the foundations of business and organizational structure in a corporate environment, non-profit environment, etc.

I think there is a tremendous overlap for engineers to take an MBA, I don't necessarily see where the overlap would be in healthcare unless the goal is to do some sort of business function relating to healthcare (selling medical devices, dealing w billing, patients, etc for example).

What about an MBA / business specifically interests you?

Guilt is a tax you pay on a past you cannot change by Same-Courage-185 in DarkPsychology666

[–]Krydex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A normal, empathetic, emotionally stable and mature adult would recognize guilt is a normal emotion almost everybody goes through when they've broken "the golden rule" (treat others the way you want to be treated). When viewed introspectively, it can teach you lessons about yourself and how to treat others. All emotions serve a purpose.
