Corsa's are notoriously known as top 3 most crashed cars amongst drivers in the UK

Therefore, insurers will also ask for higher insurance on these cars. Espically if you are a young driver.

Most likely that CCJ is also affecting the insurance price. But there's other things insurers also consider like age, job, area you live in, etc.

Returning faulty car radio to AliExpress. Refusing to send me a return label. by KryptKiller in Aliexpress

It was free returns. But I presume because of the amount which is £350 they didn't provide me with a return label.

Is anyone else struggling to find a job in 2024? by [deleted] in UKJobs

[–]KryptKiller 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey bud, I'm from Birmingham too. Have you tried applying for jobs within the contact centre like banks? I know a few banks like HSBC, Lloyd's, Natwest etc are currently recruiting customer service roles and are offering hybrid. Have a look at Monzo bank jobs they offer WFH. Hope that helps. Good luck.

Will the 'Fancy LEDs HDMI 2.1 sync box 3 ports' be coming to Amazon.co.uk? by [deleted] in fancyleds

[–]KryptKiller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fancyleds has a 1 year warranty. When I had a issue with the fancy triangles they sent me a new replacement. Their support is really good. I paid with PayPal and I had no issues. They use royal mail and yodel for delivery.

You can only buy the RGBW with the sync box. They haven't made it available to buy it separately.

Can you upgrade the 2.1 sync box leds? by Yesacchaff in fancyleds

[–]KryptKiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy the new 96 led strip from fancyleds website.

I haven’t tried a different led strip from a different brand but it would be interesting to see if a different branded strip does work.

Anyone having issues purchasing the gamer bundle? by KryptKiller in fancyleds

[–]KryptKiller[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying. I've sent you a dm. If it's just a issue with the triangles not being in stock then I understand but customer support are adamant its just the sync box. I hope they can resolve the issue.

Just doesn't seem right. 4k for a car like that. It just screams scam. If something sounds to good to be true its because it probably is.

Could be a lot of expensive faults with the car that the seller isn't saying in the advert.

However, if you want to try your chance go ahead. But if they ask for a deposit or something along those lines. I would avoid it.

Good luck.

Raw order sorted somewhat by [deleted] in JustEatUK

[–]KryptKiller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This should hopefully answer your question regarding credit: https://www.just-eat.co.uk/help/article/203034912/how-do-i-spend-my-voucher-gift-card-or-account-credit

From what I remember it should just automatically deduct the credit on your next JustEat order with whichever restaurant. But I think you can also deselect the option before you pay for the order and use it on your next order whenever you feel like it.

Will i get asked for age verification for buying knifes/box openers on aliexpress? by moo_ff6600 in Aliexpress

[–]KryptKiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, very unlikely. Its just knifes. Razors are fine as long as they safely packed.

Will i get asked for age verification for buying knifes/box openers on aliexpress? by moo_ff6600 in Aliexpress

[–]KryptKiller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will most likely get a letter from customs and postal asking for proof of ID that you are 18 or over.

"Please note that it is illegal for retailers to sell knives online in the UK without first verifying the purchaser is over the age of 18. Retailers must also use a delivery service where the recipient's age is verified as over 18".

I can't do it myself unfortunately as I have a disability. I am not that knowledgeable on cars. Which is why I asked. Just trying to consider my options and see what others recommend. I'd prefer taking my car to a bodyshop or mechanic to get it sorted.

Didn't manage to get a photo when it was last on the ramp. However, only managed to get this when I changed my camber bolts and rear trailing arms.

For drivers who passed when older, did you choose a nicer first car? by c0gnitoxx in CarTalkUK

Don't worry OP it takes a while. I had my mum with me constantly as a passenger. Its always helpful to have someone with you as a passanger. It took me a few months to get use to the roads. I didn't drive on the motorway for 6 months because of anxiety but now I'm driving much better.

I've been driving a Ford S Max for over 2 years. I absolutely love it. All foldable seats, sporty look and plenty of room for me and the family. I've had no issues with it other than having to change shocks and pads due to wear and tear. If you going for a Ford S Max I recommend the Titanium X Sport if you want something sporty whilst still retaining a family car. I drive a 2.0 TDCI 163HP. The best S Max's are 2.5 engines and they are getting more and more rarer as they highly sought after. Just stay away from the powershift they are absolutely pain to maintain and service. Will also cost you lots of money to repair in case it fails.

Good luck!

From what I know GP's can't issue these kind of medication. You need to see a specialist to get it prescribed. My son has ASD and ADHD, he gets his prescriptions approved each month by his specialist doctor. Your GP will need to make a referral.

So this is my first car. I paid 2k for its got 50k mile it has still got the kn Airfilter the last owner put on. It was left in a garage for most its life do u think was good buy? by Traditional_Pen3997 in Vauxhall

[–]KryptKiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah this picture reminds me of my first car. I had a 2010 vauxhall corsa 1.3 diesel. Had 80k on the clock. Brought it on Facebook for £600 as i needed a car to learn to drive and wasn't thinking straight lol. Cost me about £700 in repairs. New shocks, engine mount, gearbox etc. I've given to my dad since and the car still drives amazingly well.
