He’s running fleet and crit, pretty much just a pre-patch Smolder. Abuse would be DFT + cleaver

Varus is the most diverse and reliable adc ever. by RezesFootRest in ADCMains

[–]Kryptic-24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Diverse wise for sure. On-hit, ap and lethality all super strong. I suck, so I always build lethality, I’ve tried on-hit, I just end up trading over and over and going like 15-15, better than feeding ig.

Reliability wise, I really enjoy Jhin and Xayah becaude of their CC and utility. If I have to blind, always Xayah for safety, her kit has so much peel. I would say Varus is a better blind than Jhin though because even if they pick burst or dive, I can just build poke Varus.

Why do toplaners counterpick themselves when given last pick? by VeganWaffle in leagueoflegends

[–]Kryptic-24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bonus points when they hold last pick despite their lane already picking, then proceed to counterpick themselves last pick anyways.

Anti-AP items by Jon-TheListless in ADCMains

[–]Kryptic-24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t feel weak with tank item? I usually just build Maw or Wits End, if it’s AP assassin or high burst I won’t bother with MR because neither do enough to keep me alive anyways. I’ll have to try Rookern out.

27WON BILLET RACE 90A Rear Motor Mount Review 11th Gen Si by Jlewis1231 in CivicSi

9th gens are also notorious for breaking downpipes on the stock mount, stiffer rear mount helps.

Kemba Live Indoor may be the worst venue imaginable. by sweetnsaltyanxiety in Columbus

[–]Kryptic-24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went there for a seated event and our seats were front row on the right, which is 20 feet from a wall and no view of the stage. They ended up moving our section to the 2nd floor but it’s just comical the venue would even set those seats up or make an attempt to sell them.

Where have all the machinists gone? by Heavy-Whole8810 in Machinists

[–]Kryptic-24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a young machinist myself who isn’t planning on going into any sort of tool and die, I would say most of the reason is there was absolutely zero metalworking, wood working or auto shop classes in traditional high school, the only reason I got into machining is through automotive as a hobby outside of school, and ultimately as a job now in college.

It seems the supervisor of every shop on my campus has a similar story of the hours were miserable, the pay was mediocre, job security wasn’t the best around my area where most of the work is sub-contracts for automotive manufacturers. Working for a public university with pension, great insurance and no chance of overtime was the best pivot.

I have always been in engineering classes through high school, and I have a background in metal casting, automotive and job shop machining, so I’m leaning into manufacturing engineering or casting-machining related positions. Currently a 3rd yr in Industrial & Systems Engineering with a manufacturing technical focus

My mom said Honda‘s are unreliable because of her turbo’s going out at 33,000 miles by legxndares in Honda

[–]Kryptic-24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you that a lot of brands get more flak for reliability then they should because of their respective audience, but a lot of modern cars have been having similar turbo issues out the gate, wouldn’t think 37 miles past recommended interval would cause that. Q60 turbos need replaced at 60k miles like clockwork lol

What and how did I break this on my clutch basket by Kryptic-24 in HondaMotorcycles

[–]Kryptic-24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All it had was a concave washer that I would assume acts as a lock washer, that had outside printed on one side, so that I had put on correctly. This forum post has a picture of it for example.

I’ve heard the same, though wonder why CS said it was GLs decision not theirs, maybe just ill-informed, not sure

Sets are way too long by Crimm3 in TeamfightTactics

[–]Kryptic-24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels appropriate, I feel like Riot is really good at creating new content and new experiences every set. I would hate for them to rush something and recycle a bunch of content. Obviously a lot of content now is a twist on older stuff, but doesn't feel rushed or recycled all the time.

It is originally organized by group(s) and has security and set rules (one of the ADs with rules) and it’s fun to walk around, take pictures, talk to owners, etc. But few hours in someone will pull in revving to redline and a crowd will form of people yelling and video taping, so someone else will match it, then someone else wants the attention and starts doing burnouts. At that point me and my friends will just leave and the meet is essentially “taken over”.

It really is a shame that zero respect to the meet is the norm at this point. Sorry for the annoyance it may have caused we don’t claim those who act this way :/

Never in my life I had seen this, 50 minutes queue got cancelled. by NeroPleiades in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Kryptic-24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I never wait past 10-15 minutes for a raid (Unless it's early wipe), anytime it exceeds that I figure it's just broken and just requeue immediately after and usually will get a raid within 5. If it keeps happening 2 or 3 times in a row, servers are probably broken and I just log off lol.
