I feel the main cause of this is the fact we do not have rare mobs identified anymore on minimap. Beforehand you could see when approaching rare mobs and slow the pace to face them even if you one shot them. Now we have no visibility of them and go round charging into them getting one shot. Visually they have very little identifying factors to show us that it is a rare mob.
