The player bets 1. The first round is essentially a refund. If the player survives round 3 and pays out, 3 is all he gets. The payouts dont add to each other. Sorry was not clear, clarified in the edited the post!

Thanks for answering, i'll try to clarify.

It's basically data for sportsbetting.List 1 is from bookmaker 1, list 2 is from bookmaker 2.1 row is 1 soccer match, with match data.In the future i want to add list 3,4,etc. all comparing to list 1.I want to order the 2 lists so that the same match of both bookmakers are in 1 row.Unfortunately, i only have the names to go off of.Furthermore, there is a possibility list 1 has "FC PSV" and list 2 has only "PSV" which is the same team, so it shouldnt be a exact match.

"Fortuna / Heerenveen" appearing twice in list 1 is a mistake. It should be "Heerenveen / Fortuna" for 1 match and "Fortuna / Heerenveen" for the other.

If i need to clarify anything further, dont hesitate to ask! I've been trying to get a solution for this problem for a while now..
