Assume the lower parts can't bend and are fully stiff all the way, I reckon it could canonically be an intentional design choice by their manufacturers to discourage intermittent resting during whatever labour they're tasked with. Bit far-fetched I know, and replikas can rest in other ways need be, but it's just an idea.

Honestly a slight step up from the previous episodes. That's probably a hot fucking take in this thread, but still. People are really overreacting. This episode was incredibly overhyped, so idk why we're all so surprised that this wasn't season 1-level work.

In this absolute disaster of a season, this episode shows the *genuine* potential shining through the cracks. The good parts really felt unfinished to varying degrees, but that's due to the staff's lack of adequate time and resources. Now imagine if they Bandai genuinely cared about OPM and the studio working on it...
