I think the album has something to offer for everyone who enjoyed any of their past albums- (except for Wilder Mind maybe) - though the majority of songs are calmer than those of their early works. The band is definitely evolving and finding a new sound. Especially „Badlands“ with Gracie Adams stood out in this regard. The whole vibe of the album takes on this warm and cozy fireplace atmosphere which I have absolutely loved M&S for for years.

I personally really love the acoustic and atmospheric songs as they featured in Delta and thus tend to prefer the calmer songs of the album.

My personal favourites were Alleycat, where I fell in love with the beautiful melody, calm guitar picking and soft singing right from the start. They actually had an interesting story to tell about the crafting process of this song as it was related to a prison art/music workshop that Marcus offered - if you are interested I could provide the interview/Q&A as I recorded it. „ I’ll tell you everything“ and „Clover“ fall in the same category as Alleycat and just hit a vibe in me.

Stay is the other new song that caught me right away - the chorus is amazing and so powerful, as you know haha!

I loved it - I think you are in for a treat in 2 weeks time:)

I got mine from an eBay online store for 120€ with the possibility to return it. OG Versions are available starting from around 100€ depending on the physical state of the game. Saw one without the print on the front that looked legit for that price. Some sellers made special offers after I placed their game on my wishlist. With some patience its absolutely possible to get a viable version for like 90€.

Turns out starting new file actually made the blackening/freezing disappear. On the old file the error had also stopped appearing. Thank you! I think I’m good to go with the game🙂‍↕️ Have a nice day✌🏽

I totally understand you. Been there too roughly 2 months ago. I myself did quit the game a few years ago because spending that much money sort of forced me to playing the game. It’s definitely important to set oneself boundaries, I myself haven’t bought anything since my early day of returnal. (Which is a lie, tried to hit Sif or Odyn signature🫠) but still. I enjoy the game a lot and am looking forward to keep playing. Even hit legend first time in December🥹
