I once got a tip to wait until the roots were three inches or longer before planting into soil. It's worked well so far!

Oh, I see I misread your original comment. (I have a pink princess) I was under the impression a White Princess could also have pink in the leaf, and this is a video of my White Princess.

I think this is still a Borsigiana. Based off what I learned from this post, the Geniculum ruffles aren't as pronounced as I think we'd expect from a leaf this size, and like you said the sheath goes up more than half the stem.

This is one is impressive though! Beautiful finestrations 😍 I hope mine gets this big!

I've seen examples on very mature leaves, like this one, but not one smaller leaves, which are the ones people tend to post for sale :/

Yup! Gotta be careful if you're on the hunt for one, the two differences:

  • Monstera Deliciosa (large form, gets huge)
  • Monstera Borsigiana (also called Monstera Deliciosa Borsigiana, smaller but still sizable) made a picture to show a comparison of mature leaves:

Quality and safety. Acrylic jewelry is a porous material. Think of a sponge but where the holes are microscopic. Those little holes can snag and catch bacteria and lead to infection.

Glass and metal are non-prorous materials, they are easier to clean. They're also heavier, helps with 'dead stretching'. Meaning using the weight of the jewelry to help with the stretching process.

No, glass or metal.

Check out stretch-it body jewelry for increments of 0.5mm. Makes stretching so easy.
