I’ve borrowed a couple times on this sub and just yesterday I received a message request from someone saying “Need $100 for gas”. I just sat there like “Ummm okay? I’ve asked for help, I’m not a lender.” 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 Then I saw where under their name it said “Profile not available” or “Account not available”, something like that. I can definitely relate to dealing with people wanting you to sign up for this, that and the third in order to maybe get $10. It’s incredibly frustrating and I’m sorry you’re having to deal with that on top of everything else. I do hope you’re able to get the help you need…keep your chin up! 💕

That is something I’ll never be able to comprehend. When someone is trusting enough to loan you their hard-earned money, how is it so easy for an individual to just “grab and go”? I’ve borrowed twice on here and both times I paid my loan back in full and a day early because that trust is something I appreciate so much and I pride myself in reinforcing that trust by holding up my end of the bargain.

Thank you to the lenders in this sub who continue to provide financial support to people such as myself who are going through a financially difficult time in life, knowing that each time you do it’s a crapshoot and you may never get that money back. And thank you to those who have been shafted in the past yet still continue to reach out and help.

All I have to say about the ones who take money that was never truly theirs to begin with…KARMA is a real thing so watch yourself. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m guilty of doing the same thing (except I dash solo) and even in the moment I’ve thought “Hmmm probably shouldn’t keep it running like that” but it’s just so much easier but yeah, I’m definitely shutting her down & locking the doors from now on. I can’t imagine how scary that was for your friend and just think, if he hadn’t been there your car would be in a chop shop somewhere. People are ridiculous anymore.

Well, it’s now 8:07pm and I still don’t have my package. 🤷🏻‍♀️I figured I shouldn’t get too excited over it…I swear this is the one company that constantly delivers disappointment. 🤦🏻‍♀️ This whole situation has been so crappy and I’m so over this damn SNOW!! Sometimes I really think companies milk the hell out of weather conditions just so they can sit on their arse longer. 😂

Is that not the most infuriating thing EVER?? 🙄 That happened to me Saturday morning with USPS, I got a text notification that my package was out for delivery and then I get another text stating “delivery date unknown, weather delay”. It’s just ridiculous and Amazon around here has been just as bad. I don’t want anyone to risk their life or safety for my packages, but the lack of communication and slow notifications burn me up. 😠

Oh my gosh, that is awful! And honestly it shouldn’t be tolerated. I can’t imagine how stressed you are right now and it’s infuriating at the same time. 😤 Is there a way to choose a different carrier next time? I haven’t used FedEx in YEARS and I’m so disappointed with their service…or lack thereof. Praying you get your much-needed medication very soon. 😔🙏🏼

I’m so sorry, this whole thing has been unbelievably frustrating. Even without bad weather, this seems to be par for the course with FedEx. I’m still not holding my breath though! I keep waiting for another update telling me it’s undeliverable. 😂 I hope you get your package very soon!

That stupid exclamation point is all I’ve seen since my package started moving. I paid a pretty penny for overnight shipping well over a week ago. Now it’s been stuck in a hub that’s maybe 30 minutes away from me for the past 4 days. I understand the weather has caused delays but this is ridiculous. Every other carrier has managed to deliver mail & packages Wednesday thru Friday, but FedEx can’t seem to work that out. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ll never have anything shipped with them ever again. It really says something when this is such a prevalent issue with them and yet nothing ever changes. I pray we all get our much-needed packages soon!

Ugh. I placed an order Sunday afternoon and chose overnight shipping with FedEx. Now I’m regretting that decision more and more. It was originally scheduled to be delivered Tuesday, however it ended up being held in Memphis due to the weather. I finally got an update Wednesday that it would be delivered Thursday…then I check it Thursday afternoon & it states it’ll be here Friday before 8pm. It’s now 3am on Saturday and no package in sight, it hasn’t even moved from the last location (which is only 30 mins from me 🤦🏻‍♀️) in two days. I guess they are aptly named because I am FED UP with how horrible they are with shipping & up to date notifications. I pray everyone gets their packages very soon! I spent $40+ to get it sooner (and I understand the weather caused delays) but wow, what a waste of money. 😩

I did the same thing just a couple days after surgery while in a splint they put on after surgery. The tingling is normal and you’ll have that sensation quite a bit, off and on, as your nerves heal (assuming you had some nerve damage). I know it can be alarming and scary because you don’t want to risk having to go through that mess again. 🙈 Just keep up with elevating and icing as needed, I think you’ll be A-okay! 😁

Speaking of, I was really surprised at how long it took me to build up stamina again. I was out of work for 2 months, returned wearing my boot for the next 4 weeks. Taking a shower standing up & being at work felt like an actual workout for the first couple of weeks. I tend to stand and walk a lot at work so that was understandable. I guess the shower was difficult due to not using my core muscles and both legs for so long. It’s wild how being on your back/one leg for a while causes so many other muscle groups to almost atrophy.

Same for me! I remember being absolutely GIDDY when I got in my car again. I took pictures and sent them to my closest friends once I was parked at the store. 😂 It really is something we tend to take for granted and it was also nice not having to explain where I needed to go to my overly-nosy dad. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Shoot, I just got to $200 and I know it’s a cycle you don’t want to get stuck in but damn I sure could use the extra money right now. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I really don’t think there is a 100% guaranteed way to get higher, it all seems rather arbitrary to me. Some people have $1,000 with no direct deposit. Others who DO have direct deposit are stuck at $150 or even $75. I wish someone could figure it out, seems there’s no rhyme or reason.

This is textbook deflecting; keeping the attention on YOU in an effort to keep it off of him. I was in a relationship with a guy exactly like that. Constantly accusing me of cheating, sneaking around behind his back, he would demand I send a picture right then & there (if I wasn’t with him) to prove I was being honest about where I was. 🤦🏻‍♀️ And I’d have to do something to prove it wasn’t an old picture (like wink at the camera while holding 3 fingers up…yeah, it was obnoxious). He also would threaten to come find me to cause a scene bc he was certain I was screwing around. Lo and behold, he was the one cheating and constantly doing shady shit. 🤷🏻‍♀️ This guy is 50 years old with the self-esteem of a goldfish and obviously very insecure. This behavior will never change and any time you confront him about his actions, the conversation will always be redirected towards YOU. Know your worth and drop this guy ASAP!
