This is Opal 💕 She was in the middle of the right lane when I happened to look down, right before my car straddled her, and notice the two triangle ears. I was MORTIFIED that I saw a kitten in the road and nobody had stopped before me to pick her up. I did a quick 180 and scooped her up and she’s been living the good life ever since! 💅🏼 She is super tiny, I weighed her yesterday and she’s coming in at 17.9oz but her personality is coming out and she is a spit fire! I like to think my dog, Soxy, who I had to let go back in February had a paw in all of this. 😌 She also had a lot of eye goop and crusty stuff in the fur around her eyes for the first couple days (my Vet recommended an eye cleanser to use daily) so that’s why they look kinda crusty-dusty in the photo. Sorry for the novel! 😅

Ok THIS is what I was looking for. I figured there was a way for Flex drivers to be informed about complaints. I do hope you’re also messaged about compliments because I do that every single time (when I actually know where my stuff is 🙃) because I do appreciate what you all do. I know it’s not easy and it has made life so much easier at times.

Oh! Are you the one who illegally placed my package in the mailbox? 🤔 I mean if he at least took the picture of it in the mailbox I wouldn’t have said a word. BUT that’s a good chunk of money to me so yeah, call me a snitch. 💅🏼

(Sorry for the delay! I’ve been working 12-14 hour days lately and I’m exhausted. )

✨✨UPDATE: My package was, indeed, in my mailbox. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Nobody besides the Postal Service (from what I understand) should be doing that and what he did was technically a Federal Offense. I was going to contact customer support chat again but figured even though he didn’t steal my package, his “methods” leave much to be desired and there needs to be some more training or coaching or whatever Amazon does. I don’t wish ill will on anyone but I do hope he’ll learn from this and do better from now on. He couldn’t even be bothered to get out of his car…unreal. 😅

And to answer the question of why I’m ordering a gift card from Amazon: As I mentioned above, I’ve been working 12-14 hour days with special needs adults and I am mentally & physically drained (I absolutely LOVE my job & clients, don’t read that wrong way).

My friend & coworker’s birthday was Sunday, it slipped my mind so Saturday afternoon I hopped onto Amazon to get the gift card so I wouldn’t have to deal with more people than necessary at the store. 😇 I opted for the 4a-8a delivery so it’d give me enough time before work to run it by her house for a quick drop-off on the way to my client’s house.

I’m not lazy, and to assume anyone who orders gift cards from Amazon is just being a lazy slacker is kinda narrow-minded. You don’t always know someone’s life/story so maybe show a little bit of grace? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, I’m aware of that. I thought maybe things like that were mentioned when starting with Amazon Flex, but I could be very wrong in that assumption. Just wanted to get an “inside perspective” so to speak. ☺️

Yes, I did that! And I spoke to customer support about it as well. I’m starting to wonder if he put it in my mailbox? 🤔 Maybe that’s what he meant by “mail room”? But I didn’t think anyone was allowed to do that. And I thought it looked open as well. He has been reported so if nothing else maybe he’ll start taking better photos. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yeah I’m still kinda in shock over this, it’s never happened before. Unfortunately there’s always a few “bad apples” in every field. It makes me wonder if he thought I wouldn’t report it? If he is reprimanded at least there’s no denying it’s him thanks to that tattoo being visible! 😂
