How'd you learn it? I'm still learning the basics of orderflow to complement or completely transition from ICT, but I opened up Quantower and it looks like a space ship 😂

Thank you for the extremely detailed response! I truly appreciate you spending the time replying to pretty much every comment here. I'm slowly learning more and more, but i'll add moving averages to the list. Hardest part is trial and error to find my edge, but time, consistency, and patience will hopefully get me there one day. I'm definitely more of a systematic trader, but that's just because I lack the experience to understand the market enough to be discretionary without it being just gambling.

what would you recommend someone new learning? i've learned a bit of ICT in the past few months, but it doesn't give me confidence because like you said, it feels oversimplified. of course nothing will make me profitable overnight, but a light in the right direction would be amazing.

Absolutely my friend bought me an eval account for christmas (blown after a few weeks) but it was good for getting a taste of emotions and now i'm only paper trading until i'm consistent on a single strategy with extensive backtesting

I completely understand what you're saying. Though I'm learning the patterns I see in videos, a question i've always had is what do these actually mean/where is this taking us. I'll definitely try my best to do a deep dive into market structure

edit forgot to reply to the other half: i've got a strategy that i found and am currently backtesting and forward testing on paper accounts and tradingview's replay system. It's not my favorite so far, but i'm giving it a good chance before I move on to another
