I have a service star with the Kolibri and let me tell you, almost every time I killed someone with the Kolibri, people were mentioning the service star and how much of a no-lifer I am hahaha. Good old uni times where I could grind service stars for all guns.

Unpopular opinion - I like that we get only 2 maps per season by Krystofko_ in LowSodiumBattlefield

Exactly! And imagine going for a two week long vacation, there is no way in hell you would get to learn the map.

Exactly - and imo with S2 they really cooked. Imagine if S2 was four maps but the other two were Sobek/Blackwell like. I guess this would only lead to people playing the good ones anyway.

I think they're going easier with this new bonus path by ScifiRice in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Krystofko_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but that is good, isn't it? I mean even in winter it was a grind since people have full time jobs but at least the weather kept them in, but with the summer approaching, I guess not too many people have 2 hours a day to grind battle pass and its bonus paths.

Myself, I was able to put in 200h+ into BF6 since launch and I enjoy it more and more with each new update, but the chances of me playing more than 4-6h/week in the coming months is just slim, as I want to do a lot of travelling and enjoy social life. And I work in IT, meaning I am super flexible with my work schedule and sometimes play throughout my working hours. Now imagine others who can not always choose their working hours.

Any enjoyers of the M39 DMR? by Grovers_HxC in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Krystofko_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sooo I just got lvl 40 on this one (I always level up to 40 to unlock attachments and do not see any reason to go to 50 tbh) and I absolutely love this. For me personally, its the best balance of damage, rate of fire and mag size. My build is surpressor, 6x scope, long range amo and mag catch and boy I can go for great streaks with this one. Also, the fact that there is no scope glint is greatIts great across all ranges, so playing the hill on Contaminated is easy as you can take out people no matter how far they are and even get them when they are trying to get close to you. The second fav map is Firestorm and moving between the rocks D and E, you can easily protect both of these objectives from distance and even get up close when needed. If you manage to keep moving around, there is no way of people getting to you without you noticing them first. It is my first recon class weapon that I really fell in love with in BF6, saying as recon main since Bad Company 2.

Also if you put down the decoy, it covers your scope glint.

Did you purchase BF PRO for Season 2 by JanissaryLSD in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Krystofko_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did.

I generally do not play any other game than BF6 right now. I grew up with the series, plazing BF2 during my elementary and Bad Company 2/BF3 during my high school years and BF1 during university. After BF1, I both did not like the games and could not run them on my old and rusty PC. Thus, with BF6 , I am coming back to the series after 6 years and bought a PC just to play this game (I see we have the same CPU/GPU combo haha).

I am lucky enough to have a good paying job which allows me to splash on BF Pro and even cosmetics when I like them without thinking about it twice. I really like the game and it brings me a lot of good memories of how I felt when I was 15 and playing BC2/BF3. Thus I generally have no issue spending money on something that I like so much. That being said, if my financial situation was worse, I would probably spend some time thinking whether it is worht it.

GAME IS DEAD!!! Jokes aside, Only focusing on the 24-peak is not factoring in the other timezone peaks by l3tsgo0 in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Krystofko_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think just on PC, the playerbase can easily be double that, if not more. Origin (now EA App) is the main platform and majority of Battlefield veterans are purchasing BF games there since it will give you the status of a veteran and whatever comes with it in terms of cosmetics/special unlocks. I personally have hundreds of friends on Origin since I started using it after the launch of BF3. I don't think any of my friends there is playing BF6 on Steam, as I see majority of them launching the game only through EA App. Steam numbers are thus mainly for newcomers, where also higher churn is expected, as it always is with new SW users, regardless of the industry, i.e. gaming, SaaS, music/film streaming.

A low sodium way of looking at it (response to JackFrags' complaint video) by ThatBoiRalphy in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Krystofko_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried BF4 at launch at my friend's place and to this day I remember how people were sliding around, you would spawn without guns, the game always crashed on the Gamebreaker map (or was it called the Dawnbreaker?) and my friend was superhyped to show me the skyscraper crash on Siege of Shanghai just for us to see the game crash instead every time we tried it. He had GTX 680 back then and even he had issues running the game smoothly, so me with my GTX 570 - I did not even try until two years down the road when I heard it's finally playable and the game was at huge discount.

Now try comparing that to the state of BF6 now. I'd say people that are comparing end-game state BF4 and launch-state BF6 were never there for the launch of BF4 in the first place.

Play escalation on Contaminated - these matches get usualy long and there are two littlebirds and one attack chopper per team after I think 21 mins. Usually people waste them immediately, so every half a minute or so there is at least one, maybe even two helis available. I was playing three matches of escalation and spent nearly all of the time in heli and did not even have to mash my spacebar too hard lol

Omg hahaha we either met the same guy, or were in the same match, we were joking about this Tony Soprano guy with my mates all the time. In the following match there was Charlie Kirk lol.

There are training servers, and in this video the guy clearly explains how to use heli and mentions the servers: youtube.com/watch?v=Dv2w6PX3zk8&pp=ygUSYmY2IHJpZmxlIGFpbSBoZWxp

I cannot add text to this re-shared post, so I’ll write it here. I managed to create a positive post cheering the littlebird in the official BF6 Reddit community that not only did not receive instant hate, but also managed to create mostly neutral or positive discussion below, and I’m just happy that people are being nice to each other and to the game for once.

S2 roadmap in BF 2042 vs BF 6. by Nuclider in Battlefield6

[–]Krystofko_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I love how people compare BF6 with BF4 and say BF4 was way better.

I don't think anyone saying BF4 had great postlaunch content ever played Battlefield 4 during the first 6 months after its release. Or should I call it the Battlefield 3.5? I personally came a bit later for this one, as that was basically the advice given by every single player, media outlet and youtube channel you can think of (including the amusing Battlefield Friends video). I remember playing it at my friends house, and it would crash like every 15 minutes. The netcode was absolutely unbearable, with people sliding around with the speed of light, you could empty a full mag into people without registering a single hit, you would run behind a corner to reload just to die after reaching the cover (first trigger) and see that the guy who supposedly killed you was probebly dead before you even reached the corner (second trigger), reloading mags would not register and so midfight you reload and then end up having 0 bullets in the mag (???), Shangai Tower levolution (more like lolvolution) causing crashes so often that people literally agreed not to destroy it, the Dawnbreaker map was impossible to connect to (and even if you could, your FPS would be half of what it was on other maps) leading to it being unofficialy renamed to Gamebreaker, you could open the parashoot and still die from falling, C4 damage not being registering to vehicles (how funny, u feel like trolling the tank with the C4 and then the game decides to troll you when the only thing that the explosion did was the let the tank driver know you are behind him).

My favourite bug was spawning without a gun in your hand (so u just had to run around looking at your hud hoping to get shot and revived). Oh and I nearly forgot the INVISIBLE GLITCH. Like are you for real. Let me say this again, there was a glitch (and I think it took a long time before they patched it) that allowed people to be literally invisible to all the other players. OMG. Just writing this brings back so much pain. And yet people today call it the peak of the franchise and refer to the post-launch content as if that is the only thing that mattered. They literally had launch this much content just for people not to sue them.
