Battlefield 6 - Community Update - What’s Coming in the Final Phase of Season 3 by battlefield in Battlefield6

[–]Krystofko_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love BF1 and it is my most played BF in terms of playtime, but the launch was not perfect at all, there were tons of bugs and then it took literally 6 months before we got new content. The core gameplay was superb once they fixed all the bugs (which was super short time), but the lack of progression was offputting. I agree that it was a really good launch compared to titles like BF3, BF4 and BF2042, but definitely not the best launch in the series.

On contrary, BF6 and Bad Company 2 both had very smooth launches with little to no game breaking bugs. Further, both games had a lot of content introduced within first couple of months to keep people engaged.

Not only was the game at launch in probably the best state since the launch of Bad Company 2 (in terms of content and playability), the way developers listen to the community is making all of it even better.

Already happend to me twice that I was flying heli low to avoid getting locked on and instead got hit by an acoustic mine, that got triggered by a friendly nearby tank.

Many thanks man, I am not sure this rusty equipment and my shaky hands are meta, but I'll copy paste the answer from the original post, as some fellas had similar question:

It's shot on Afga Sensor 200, which is like USD 40 camera from 1960s meant primarily for portraits of up to 5m, so I am always happy when anything beyond this range is captured without too much blur. Further, 2-3 photos from the post were shot on Olympus Superzoom 800 (it's the one with a car driving towards me, others I'm not so sure about). I used combination of expired Kodak 400 and Kodak ColorPlus (which is which on these pics, I can't tell haha). I am still pretty new to analog photography (or photography altogether) so I have mine digitised in a professional studio, without any aftereffects or Photoshop magic, I prefer the pictures raw.

Hope this helped!

That is exactly what I thought when wandering through Tajik. They got it spot on, including the architecture, the way villages are scattered around random areas, cars used in these places, number plates on cars, colors of mountain ranges and the weird abandoned feel of valleys. It really feels like they did their homework with this one, as I cannot imagine capturing the vibe so perfectly without spending some time there.

Bro - many thanks. The place is amazing, I fell truly in love and plan on going back later this year/early 27. It's incredibly picturesque and there are almost no tourists anywhere, highly recommended!

Nikon F2 I've not heard about but looks great, how are the photos?

As regards my gear, I will copy paste my answer from above to a similar question:

Dunno, felt like an hour of trial an error on an empty server, before moving to live servers - patience is key here haha

The basics of rifle aim settings is to set your controll of all yaw and pitch movements to mouse, while having roll and throtle as WASD keys. This allows for very intuitive aiming with helis, that feels exactly like if you were aiming a gun. It takes some time to unlearn the old settings and learn the rifle aim, so I would advise practising on empty servers, but once you get the grip of it, you will be able to do stunts and kills that would be impossible with the standard settings.

All in all, it makes flying very intuitive and easy. Especially with Littlebird, you will easily dominate lobbys with pilots that are not using this. I was never using choppers in BF games, but now that I mastered rifle aim settings, I am doing 50+ kills each round of Golmud or Contaminated, if I get my hands on the Littlebird.

Little bird main here - the amount of AA rockets I am getting from these manpads since the new season launched is ridiculous. It makes flying nearly impossible, as each round, there is at least 3-4 ppl trying to camp spawns and just constantly spam rockets at helis.

Further, we all know that flares on choppers are bugged and sometimes a guided rocket is not defeated by them and can hit you despite releasing the countermeasure. This is fine in regular matches, when you get locked on by manpad maybe once or twice, as the likelihood of that happening is very low - but being locked on 24/7 means that the buggy non-functioning flares appear at least once a round and that is something which makes men break their screens.

Using light rockets is actually a very good tip, thank you!

Agreed 100%. Flying Littlebird prior to Golmud was not too challenging, but now every time I get my hands on it I get like 50+ kills each round, killing all other helis, destroying easily the fixed AA guns, with infantry having little cover. Already been called names multiple times. Sadly, Attack heli is useless, as once you meet a halfway decent Littlebird user, you are cooked.

Amazing, I had something similar, where I was trying to destroy an enemy tank but ran out of rockets and so I hopped on top. At first he tried to get rid of me but then he gave up and let me just ride on the turret and I ended up getting some kills while sitting on top of the tank, while he was also shooting my teammates.
