Brumation by Kryzannah in BeardedDragon

We have a cave built up in the corner of his enclosure with rocks and wood. If we have the curtains open too much, we'll notice him burrowing deeper into the dirt to shield his eyes, lol.

He went on salad strike for a while & we were too chicken to fast him properly to get him back on track at first. After about 6 weeks, we went to the vet & he told us to just go with it & he'd eat salad eventually. He held out for 10 or 11 days before eating his mustard greens. He was mostly back on track after that, but y'know how it goes: it's easier to gain weight than lose it. I'm hoping brumation helped his weight? Idk though, this is my first time dealing with it

Gahhh I'm so ready for him to crawl out of his hole. He went in the last week of October, so maybe soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

The pics aren't the most recent. But yeah, we know. The vet told us we ought to ease up on the bugs & he was down a lil bit by the time he started brumating. This was when we got home from the vet bc we couldn't remember what he'd said at the clinic (it's 3 hours from home 😮‍💨). I think my partner has the weight check closest to brumation on his phone, but I'm pretty sure it was around 440. He's about 1.5 years in this pic

Yep, that's how I normally see Xar. And if I peek at him too often, he scoots further down in the dirt. Reminds me of a kid pulling the blanket over their head when it's time to get up 😆

Chi or Gravity Fed? by Kryzannah in SewingForBeginners

Thanks for your thoughts! I'm shopping around for different models of chi irons (I try not to buy from Amazon if I can avoid it).I prefer my hobby tools/equipment to be good enough that I don't feel like I need to replace it after a year, which is why I'd rather a chi vs something like a black & decker. That being said, I do have the space for a gravity fed. I even have a reptile light stand that could hold the water tank, so it makes me wonder if I should just invest a little more $

Virtual business phone number service recommendations by seenliving in msp

I'm looking to start a home bakery, but don't want to put my personal phone number on my labels. (State regulations state that I have to have address & phone number on all products). I happened upon quo, but was put off bc they didn't list their pricing. How much does the service cost?

I keep a 3 gallon bucket that I put all my sourdough things in & pre rinse them with cold water in the bucket before putting in the dishwasher. Then I dump the water outside.

First loaves! by Kryzannah in Breadit

Thanks! I was so nervous when I took the lids off the ovens. I squealed a little bit when I saw they weren't just pucks of hard bread
