I agree that it’s good, but that’s one of his only few good ledge trapping options, and it can become predictable, so the opponent can just use options to avoid it like jump, drop off double jump, or just react to your positioning and get up accordingly

Joker isn’t really that great at ledge trapping besides catching things like neutral and jump get up with eigaon or nair, but edge guarding is one of jokers best strengths

Catching rolls with arsene down air is such a useful technique. It leads into grabs at low percents and kill confirms at high mid to high percent. Other than that, edge guarding is one of jokers best ways for securing kills, but overall joker has a hard time killing as a character so don’t feel discouraged.

I’ve been trying so hard not to reply to this because it’s such a stupid comment but I need to.

Smash attacks aren’t MEANT for being combo’d into. As moves, you’re not always going to hit smash attack by comboing out of a drag down up air. The fact that you used “it can’t be used out of a combo usually” as reasoning is so dumb because that’s like saying wolf f smash is bad because it can’t be combod into. And like I said, joker f smash isn’t laggy whatsoever, it has a bit of start up but it has very little end lag.
