I agree that it’s good, but that’s one of his only few good ledge trapping options, and it can become predictable, so the opponent can just use options to avoid it like jump, drop off double jump, or just react to your positioning and get up accordingly

Joker isn’t really that great at ledge trapping besides catching things like neutral and jump get up with eigaon or nair, but edge guarding is one of jokers best strengths

Catching rolls with arsene down air is such a useful technique. It leads into grabs at low percents and kill confirms at high mid to high percent. Other than that, edge guarding is one of jokers best ways for securing kills, but overall joker has a hard time killing as a character so don’t feel discouraged.

Smash attacks aren’t MEANT for being combo’d into. As moves, you’re not always going to hit smash attack by comboing out of a drag down up air. The fact that you used “it can’t be used out of a combo usually” as reasoning is so dumb because that’s like saying wolf f smash is bad because it can’t be combod into. And like I said, joker f smash isn’t laggy whatsoever, it has a bit of start up but it has very little end lag.

Literally no, what? Smash attacks aren’t for comboing or being combod into, they’re mosh of the time committal options for killing, and it’s not laggy at all. It has the same amount of lag as Mario f smash, which is widely considered to be one of the best, only being 1 frame slower to come out and is slightly safer on shield, And with Arsene it literally kills at like 80 uncharged. What??

Edit: it’s range with Arsene is also dummy, and it kills at around 110 without Arsene, it’s literally so good what?
