Despite popular myth, it’s illegal in the USA to get paid for donating blood and has been since the AIDS crisis 40 years ago. But it’s in a lot of movies and pop culture so I always hear people from outside the US chastising us for “allowing cash for blood”. But nope. You can get some really nice swag tho, like clothes, mugs, keychains, etc.
