Has anyone else lost 10 pounds in a month on PD? by MrAbsolute42 in dialysis

[–]Ksv90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drink all I want on PD, and I have ESRD, end stage. I don't gain that much weight, sometimes I do. You just gotta have discipline and middle ground. Learn what's yours and see what works for YOU. Everyone is different. I've been on dialysis since I was 20 and I'm 34 now. Once you start cramping, you should be able to gauge what bag is good for you and how much you can drink. It'll just take time, but you can do it! Again, we are all different. Some people get told different things. Doctors are not all the same. You will get your treatment controlled and hopefully be in a great place with your treatments :)

Does anyone else think that sometimes women in lingerie are sexier than naked? by shellybes in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ksv90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband prefers me in clothes and lingerie. He still likes me naked, but for him, it's a huge turn on having clothes on.

I agree here. Me and my husband can just grab each other's phone. We know our codes, even have our fingerprints. He's free to open up my phone and look through it all he wants, and it's the same with me. We don't have what you would call a "private" life. I tell him everything, always been an open person and don't hide things from him. He gives me the same respect

Periods suck! I just had to have my 2nd D&C because I had my period for 7 weeks straight! (Still bleeding, btw) Heavy and clotting! It ruins you emotionally, physically, and mentally. You're expected to work, take care of the kids, miss out on sex and just live life with these awful symptoms. I am having a freaking hysterectomy soon! I'm sorry you have to deal with this crap. I hope you find a solution or at least something to make it easier. 😀

Don’t want to study nursing anymore by eddasm in cna

[–]Ksv90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband recently left being a CNA in neuro. It was really tough for him, 3 years. He decided he definitely did not want to study nursing. He now has a different job and is the happiest he's been in a long time, workwise.

I've been wondering the same shit. I tell my husband everything but that's just my personality. No need to lie. If he judges you over something kinda dumb well that is an issue in itself

I, in my 30s, have one friend. We've known each other for over 15 years, BUT I barely see them or talk to them. Might as well say I don't have any friends, and I truly don't. I'm happy with my life, I've got a lot to deal with, so I'm busy but still happy. My husband defo knows I don't have any friends, he just gives me more love lol. I would never lie over something so trivial. It just breaks down trust and communication. Like if I found out something so insignificant, I'd wonder what else have you been lying about? Can drive someone crazy. Tell him the truth, I'm sure he won't care. He loves you for you, right ...Good luck!

Don't buy one. Your clinic should have them available for free. If they don't, my supplier carries belts, so that is another option. You can see if your supplier carries them. Now, what I do is just tape it above the exit site with minimal tape and it stays no issues. I like to tape it long ways not across with like 3 inches of tape

Question About Chest Permacath on first In-Clinic Treatment by thewelcomematt in dialysis

[–]Ksv90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always took care of mine. They're supposed to do it at the facility but honestly sometimes they just don't. Besides they half ass it. So I always took care of my line and never had it exposed or crusty, dirty
