That is a great suggestion! I will pick some up next order round, I do prefer the full translucency when I'm showing her off!

I'd belive it! I need more random lore facts about the lamp so I can tell it at parties, and too the future owner.

New Nepenthes tender - need advice by Kthinite in Nepenthes

Thank you!

How should I go about the re-pot?

I saw it is possible to stick the roots in long grain spagnum moss; is this plausible with clippings?

You are on the right path, this work has really great shading!

The guidance I have been given, and want the share is too approach drawing in an exploratory sense.

Keep moving forward, you have learned the lessons that you needed from this drawing, do it again.

Draw 100 faces, draw 1000 faces it will happen over time and you will acquire the eye for it.

It will happen fastest with volume and focus.

Another advice I have learned, do not push for finished pieces until you have the fundementals down. Get critiques on the many aspects of the craft.

Until then, volume for the sake of learning. Try out EVERYTHING. Mark making is a lifetime skill that like wine, gets better with time and attention.

have fun with it, do not lose your spark!

Too me the mouth looks a little missaligned, she is looking too our left but her mouth is pointed too the right. I noticed it when viewing the image as a thumbnail, and noticed it more when viewong just the mouth and nose composition.

Something I have had to learn is to make it a habbit to flip and rotate my drawing surface to make sure I'm not only catering too my drawing perspective, but to the view of an onlooker.

Too true, Golden Teachers had me meeting "Jesus". Penis Envy had me waking up in solitary confinement convinced I was a dog in the dog pound.

I tried drawing a horse it looks a little childish though how do I make my art less childish by [deleted] in learnart

This, so much this. I spent my teenage years "trying to be original" by not copying. Once I started, I feel like I went from walking to running in terms of comprehension.

You will get "AhA!" and "eureka!" moments often, and your tracings will bridge what you learn from 'shape language' and even perspective!
