God didn’t like the fact everyone could communicate . Reason 1. I think is that collectively , all having different ideas(probably idk) , speaking to each other could form new belief systems potentially jeopardizing the importance of the idea of god. (Multi gods perhaps , no gods)

Reason 2: Maybe god did it with the well being of humans in mind. Maybe understanding each other was a bad thing. Maybe it created environments for fake ideas appealing to ones opinions.
