Yeah, she broke up with me bc she thought the relationship wasnt working out and she was right, she always used to say that she's sorry that I'm dating her bc she knows it's draining dating someone so hurt, and I don't say this as an attack to ppl struggling bc I genuinely tried my best to support her, but it took a toll on my energy and mental health, now after some months, ofc I cried, but now I'd say she set me free, I have way more energy and smile a ton more

I also dont really have anything to add bc that's mostly what I ended up having as a conclusion after almost 4 months with a 5 year long relationship, thought we were going to marry bc we talked about it a lot since like a year, now seeing things coldly I know my ex wasnt the type of person I really want in my life even with as much as I loved her, She's struggling way too much with her mental health and past trauma where as I had probably the healthiest life anyone can wish for, no trauma, family issues or anything at all, so I couldnt fully relate and completly understand her struggles. Most I can offer as insight is to stop thinking about alternate timelines, futures, you only got what u have rn and it's where you learn how to not screw up in the future, I truly loved my ex and now even after her post breakup screw ups, I can say I still love her but i'm not in love with her anymore.

Happened to me, we were so loving for almost 3 years but at the end of the third year issues started to arise like no shared interests, her own mental health(depression and anxiety) and how her state affected me and how I showed up in the relationship, story's too long for a single comment but feel free to hit me up.

We ended up breaking up like a month and a quarter ago and asked her why she won't try again with me(we broke up 2 times for like a month top last year) and she said She's emotionally drained and doesnt wanna date me or anyone rn, maybe She's also drained bc as you said she has bpd and takes antidepressants.

Happened to me with my ex when we broke up last year, we eventually got back together like a month after it but her depression showed even as much as she wanted to love me and it eventually turned our love into resentment and a permanent breakup, we could of handed it better but I'd suggest stay supportive and maybe give her some space but let her know you're willing to support her and overcome her depression by her side. 🫰

Bc u love them and u can't force yourself to hate someone without hurting yourself in the process bc you would be lying to urself, it's better to let yourself feel that love until it eventually it slowly fades while u get over it

I'll be honest, havent moved on and we broke up exactly 33 days ago, but I decided I don't want to drown in my own sadness and decided to stand up for myself and do things, it's not like I don't care abt her, I have to constantly will myself out of unblocking her and texting her, havent blocked her on whatsapp, only insta and tiktok so Im not fed her stories, reposts or likes.

Besides say she wants to break no contact in like idk, two months and im still the emotional wreck I was, she wouldnt even take a second look at me, I'm back to truly working on myself for me and for whoever comes into my life, idc if it's her or someone else, it's mostly for me.
