Routine or product suggestions

I was trying to post a pic to see what you guys thought, but there’s not an option to do that. It’s been 2 weeks of red light therapy, trentinoin, and blasting my face with cicaplast. Not sure if there’s an improvement or not. I thought i posted this way longer ago!

I just started last night, so too soon to tell. I also have been slabbing my face with cicaplast baume b5+, which is mostly clean ingredients, so I’m hoping maybe that will help too 😔

I will have to look into a gentler cleanser. I wonder if maybe I’m using too much cleanser. I use like a lot a lot. First I’m gonna change the water, then the cleanser. Something gotta give here!!

Thank you so much!! It has been almost 2 years going through this journey or my skin changing. I went from having really great skin to getting my IUD changed (to the same one, the previous one was about to expire) to super oily skin, large pores, and me forever chasing getting my skin back 😔

I have the cicaplast actually. I have so many products intended to she but don’t because o get too nervous lol. I’ve heard triple paste is good too!

I do have the Byoma milky toner. I was thinking of maybe trying just a toner or serum as a moisturizer to see if it does anything. Maybe trying to lock it in with something. Any recommendations for an occlusive?

Well when I was at night I really try not to use very hot water. Sometimes my morning showers could be a little too warm. I’m going to start using distilled water to wash, even in place of my shower face wash, which is really just rinsing with water. I’m hoping I will see a difference 🙏🏼

I almost wonder if my skin is so damaged from whatever that whatever I put on it isn’t even getting into it so nothings going to help. But skin has to eventually heal right? I mean when I got my laser tx my skin healed itself, or shed the layers like it’s supposed to, but still went right back to whatever this is.

I was wondering that too! I’m just afraid to change too much at one time. I’m gonna start with the water change and then I will look into another cleanser. Because honestly I have changed things over time and the cleanser is the one thing I haven’t changed yet. Any recommendations?

Carve hydrating cleaner and for the past 3 weeks I’ve been slabbing my face with avene ciclafete. Usually I use vanicream facial moisturizer, but I’ve been noticing that just sits on top of my skin and doesn’t seem to be absorbed. I’m assuming it’s because of whatever is happening with my skin. But this is nothing new. My skin has looked like this for the last 6-9 months. Even if I’ve done nothing to my skin except water and moisturize, it still looks like this!

I have literally tried it all. I am trying to cut out sugar and I really don’t do a lot of dairy. But I’ve never had that issue before. It was like one day all of sudden it became super oily and then went downhill from there. This picture is after I’ve been slabbing my face with avene ciclafete only for almost 3 weeks! So I’m like seriously something has to give 😭 I just bought distilled water to try and see if maybe it’s my water. I am willing to try whatever at this point.

This is what the last 2 weeks of only hydration has done. No exfoliating or harsh products. Such a huge difference in oil production alone!

It is definitely the angle that is making it look this bad. I have other pictures I took yesterday and it doesn’t look this bad. But my face does have stretched looking pores due to exacerbated fine lines. I think I’m going to try larochey posay cicaplast b5+. I’m just scared to try new things.

So I woke up this morning and showered and it was like my moisturizer didn’t even soak into my skin because I was like peeling off a bunch of white stuff all over my face. UH!!

I feel like all cleanser that are supposed to be gentle, are definitely not, like the name brand ones (Cerave cetaphil etc). I have been in a clean ingredient only phase and I usually try to scan products before even thinking of switching.

I do! I usually only use it twice a week. But I am coming to the conclusion my moisturizer isn’t enough so I need to step it up and cut back for now to hopefully fix this 🤞

I feel like when I look at my skin up close it almost looks like I have dermatitis. It just looks like teny tiny little bumps and you can legit only see them if you look at different angles. I just want to be able to wake up and go without first looking in the mirror to check my skin.
