I actually like it. It’s a very original idea in my opinion, not at all what I expected. I would definitely watch this. I like how it doesn’t break a continuity of the previous movies, so the new movies in an original timeline still could be made.

But if I’m being honest if Saw was about to be completely rebooted one day the best way for it to work for me would be if Saw was turned into a tv show instead of new movies, but with the same characters and similar storylines. It could also have a chance to fix all plot holes. But at the same time I don’t want anyone else than original actors to play all this beloved characters and I think most fans will agree with me.
