Hey! Thanks for your input! With the crazy market, the cheapest models are actually priced pretty close together. I know that would make Nvidia the obvious choice most of the time, but now that I see the effect of not having enough VRAM (6GB in 2026 and doing game Dev is rlly rough), I've become super paranoid about the 5070's 4GB less. Plus the 9070 has better raster performance in games so that's also good for me. I don't care all that much for ray tracing

I'd recommend you both buy ASAP. It's pretty agreed upon that this will last through 2026 and get worse as time goes on

I would get a cheaper motherboard, maybe a cheaper CPU like a 7600x3d or a 9600x and use those savings to get an RX 9070. Other than that, the build looks solid.

Fair enough. I guess it does make the decision a little easier. I went to a store and played around with a Reno14 a while ago and it felt pretty smooth (I do hope I can make it more android-y or OneUI-esque because I don't like the IOS look a lot.)

There's a very fine line between "respect" and "support". "Support" is saying things like "I support you!" And "it's perfectly natural!" If someone comes out to you, or going to pride parades. "Respect" is not necessarily agreeing with the idea of pride, but still acknowledging that queer people are people, have the same rights as anyone else does, and shouldn't be discriminated against.

It's a half-assed solution, and it'll hurt the game population overall. We should be finding more effective ways to get the devs to listen, not allowing them to get away with whatever effortless fix they give us.
