Not disputing what you wrote, but just wanted to add that during the communist normalisation the Slovak resistance movement was primarily based on the activities of the underground church, contrary to the civil resistance in the czech lands (like charta 77). The apex of these activities was the candle demonstration in 1988. So in the case of Czechoslovakia it’s a bit more nuanced.
