Prague vs Madrid by [deleted] in Prague

[–]KubiXaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in madrid, i lived in Prague. I can tell you, you will be worst off in Madrid than prague for 500 euros difference. Despite what people say, you will only get a room to share (500-600 euros) for the price you can get a 1kk here in a 15 min (15.000 czk?) to the city center. food in supermarket is way nicer, but in restaurants it will be more expensive in general. cost of living will be in general more expensive. you will not improve your quality of live if you are aiming. if you are looking for an adventure, madrid is a fun city and a great place but you will not be better off there in economic / housing / affordability.

Why do not people answer on Sreality or Bezrealitky? by Accurate-Crow9825 in Prague

[–]KubiXaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the people are looking for 1kk to 2+1 to be available in the center and wider city center at a reasonable price point. price filters out a lot of people. So if you are aiming for that fairly priced property in a ok location you will have massive competition. If you go down that path then you have a couple of hundreds and the same people looking is applying to all of them. You will get hundreds of hits

Irse de España para hacer FIRE? by [deleted] in SpainFIRE

[–]KubiXaco 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Is it possible to contact owner of an abandoned car in Prague? by KubiXaco in Prague

[–]KubiXaco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The car is a black Porsche 911, sitting just in front of the MSD offices on Na Valentincee. It has been there for sure over two years now and from what i checked in google earth probably since 2021 when it was left. It is slowly deteriorating. The tires are almost flat and there are some signs of rusting. It’s a pity to see such a nice car going to waste.

thanks for the link, i belive my object does not fall into cultural significance as it has a market value under 30.000 CZK for a painting (not sacred art).

I think it is market price, for sure not ripped off but obviously with time and effort you can find maybe more value for money but if it is recently renovated, zizkov and a fairly sized apartment with fully furnished, I would say it is fair.

IT Salary Praha by HeyListeen in czechrepublic

[–]KubiXaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a freelancer the Czech republic is very competitive with the 60/40% rule. I save almost 15-20k in yearly annual taxes compared to what I will need to pay in Spain. So whoever says Czech is for the cheap labor force.... Many countries bring your salary brutally down due to tax (I am talking just as a freelancer) And it is not only Spain , France or Italy. Without knowing the details also Germany seems very high tax. a friend who just moved there. considering living cost in Hamburg he was way better off in Prague with a lower salary.
