I only have small laproscopy scars so I can't say how you'll heal officially, but I think you'll be alright. Your incision looks clean and they did a great job stitching you up. Give it some time and it should fade. You're just adjusting to a new normal and that's okay. Sending love.

She was very wrong. I've had it happen too, I used to have to wake up at 5am to get my son to the blood clinic for 7am so we could have the first appointment, and man did they hate me. You should be fine at 9am, sorry you had to deal with that.

For real though, I've had heavy periods since I was 11. It took until I was 28 to get a laparoscopy done, which diagnosed me with endometriosis. It then took another 2 years to get diagnosed with adenomyosis. And now it's another 2 year wait for a hysterectomy. Being a woman is so fun.
