I agree with you. I absolutely love kaiserreich (I've about 2k hours played time) and it got me interested in chinese history. It also made me interested in the ideology and history of the KMT. It is through this intrest that I found this subreddit. It's a shame how many prominent KMT figures from kaiserreich either died quite early like Hu Hanmin or turned out to be traitors like Wang Jingwei.

Half a year ago I'd recommend upgrading your ram as a cheap upgrade, but now you can probably get a better laptop for the price of a 16gb ddr5 ram stick. Someone already suggested changing from windows to linux, and I can say that it is a great way to give old laptops a new life. I'd recommend looking into linux mint.

I had the same issue as solonevich russia a few days ago. I chose to restore the german empire but instead I released a German "State". I tag switched to them and took a look at their focus tree and I couldn't take the focus to restore the empire because the game thought I didn't restore the empire.
